Town: A thriving village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, offering a 12th century church, a number of good pubs, excellent shop, Post Office, tea room and marina with narrow boat hire. Close by, the historic town of Southam offers more amenities, including a supermarket, regular farmers' market and leisure centre. Many walks can be enjoyed in the area with the Millennium Way, Oxford Canal Walk and Grand Union Canal Walk all running close by. Also within reach is Draycote Water, which offers 650 acres of water for sailors and windsurfers, as well as offering lovely walks, cycle trails, birdwatching and fishing.
