Maison Véronique – 7BR/7 bathroom Luxury Provençal Stone Estate /2 heated Pools
Maison Véronique is a beautifully restored Provençal estate centred around a cream-stone mas that has grown organically over centuries. Today it offers the rare combination of authentic character and refined contemporary comfort—set in peaceful, mature gardens, yet perfectly positioned for the best of the French Riviera.
Ideally located around 20 minutes from Nice Airport and the Côte d’Azur beaches, the property feels calm, private and surrounded by nature, while remaining close to Valbonne, Grasse, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and the region’s most celebrated restaurants, markets and villages.
A historic mas, finished to an exceptional standard
The house has recently undergone a complete, meticulous restoration led by an interior design team, Annie Allison, and finished to a consistently high standard throughout. Original cream-stone walls, terracotta roofs and traditional Provençal architecture have been carefully preserved, while the interiors have been entirely renewed with elegant finishes, curated furnishings, tasteful artworks and modern amenities.
Natural stone, exposed beams, ”plafonds à la provençale” - exposed wooden beams with infill plaster panels , terracotta, stone and wooden floors and subtle plasterwork, typical French doors and shuttered windows, retain the soul of Provence, enhanced by beautiful lighting and generous, light-filled living spaces designed for relaxed socialising—plus excellent storage across the property. Extensive air-conditioning, insulation and underfloor heating ensure comfort in every season.
Seven ensuite bedrooms for flexible, private stays, three of these with their own private adjoining living room. Two of these have also extra single beds available if you are travelling with young children who like to be close to their parents. A travel cot, and a standard full size cot are available for Babies.
Maison Véronique offers seven spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom—ideal for families or groups of up to 14 guests. If absolutely necessary, additional sleeping options (including a sofa bed, trundle bed and a smaller children’s bed) can accommodate up to four additional guests.
All bedrooms are calm and thoughtfully designed with high-end mattresses and quality bedding. Several include private lounges (including the two master suites), and the ground-floor master suite opens onto its own outdoor terrace with a dining and seating area. TVs are available in the master suites and selected additional rooms, including a children’s den.
Bathrooms are finished in contemporary materials with walk-in showers and/or bathtubs, refined detailing, luxury towels and dressing gowns, with guest toiletries provided.
Living, relaxing and entertaining
The air conditioned ground floor hosts a spacious main salon, while upstairs there is a separate air conditioned TV room with a working fireplace and Sky/Netflix.
At the heart of the home is the spectacular double-height kitchen with two islands - one marble, one copper, crafted and hand painted in England by deVOL. Flooded with natural light entering via a magnificent 16 foot tall glass and bronze arch, sitting between stone floors and an exposed oak ceiling, it is designed to be both beautiful and highly functional. It features premium appliances (including La Cornue range cooker, Gaggenau refrigeration, dishwashers and a hot drink station), generous work surfaces and excellent equipment for effortless entertaining. The kitchens benefit from Stanley Tucci pans and an extensive selection of high quality crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving bowls. A separate pantry provides additional appliances, storage and a drinks fridge. The kitchen is a chef's dream, and a true high end luxurious masterpiece.
A high-ceilinged, stone floored dining room sits between the kitchen and salon, creating a welcoming, flexible space for long meals and easy hosting. A secondary kitchen and fully equipped laundry room are ideal for guests travelling with staff.
Two heated pools and exceptional outdoor living
Outdoors is where Maison Véronique truly shines. Guests enjoy the rare luxury of two heated, alarmed swimming pools, plus multiple terraces with sun and shade, landscaped lawns, olive trees and abundant Mediterranean planting—jasmine, bougainvillea, oleander, agapanthus, roses, lavender and more—along with fig, pomegranate and lemon trees and herb beds. Plenty of sunloungers and daybeds are provided, with a generous supply of outdoor towels.
Adjacent to the main kitchen, serving the main terrace, a shaded outdoor kitchen with substantial stone prep space and large stone sink includes a Kamado-style barbecue and a gas barbecue—perfect for long summer lunches and convivial evening cooking while staying close to guests. The outdoor sound system makes for perfect evenings at the table and adjacent sofas.
There are several outdoor dining settings, including a handmade main table seating 12–14, an additional breakfast/children’s table, outdoor sofas and further dining by the pool.
A cool indoor/outdoor loggia between the main kitchen and the main terrace offers a shaded retreat at the height of summer, while a beautifully appointed pool house provides a comfortable escape with a large TV, drinks fridge and WC—ideal for spending the whole day poolside.
The gardens also include a full-size pétanque court and table tennis, with seating and an outdoor TV area for relaxed, sociable afternoons. Wi‑Fi is available throughout the house and across the main terrace and both pool areas, and selected outdoor areas feature a quality sound system integrated with Sonos/Spotify.
Location and local life
Despite its tranquil setting, Maison Véronique is exceptionally well placed. Roquefort‑les‑Pins is around 1 km away, offering excellent everyday amenities— delightful boulangeries, greengrocers, butcher, poissonerie, wine shop, deli, supermarket and a mix of casual cafés and restaurants—while retaining an authentic village feel.
For exploring, Valbonne and Grasse are close by with lively markets and Provençal charm, and the coastline is easily reached for day trips. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate a prestigious course around 10 minutes away by car, and the area offers scenic walks, cycling routes and hilltop villages. Guests are also encouraged to visit St‑Paul‑de‑Vence and spend a day at the Gorges du Verdon.
Practicalities
Please note: due to the historic layout, only the ground-floor master suite is wheelchair accessible.
Electric gates open to ample parking for more than a dozen cars. With generous indoor and outdoor spaces, the estate can host wonderful summer parties. Wedding parties, retreats or special events may be possible by arrangement with the host.
A high chair and cot are available, along with a selection of pool inflatables.

Zu Gast bei Sarah Morris
I’m Sarah, a luxury Airbnb host and property manager on the Côte d’Azur. Born and living in France, I’m deeply connected to the charm of the 06 and its outdoor, sun-filled lifestyle—where swimming, nature and effortless elegance are part of everyday life. My background is in elite hospitality, having worked on superyachts as Chief Stewardess and Purser, where discretion, precision and exceptional service are non-negotiable. This experience shaped my approach to property management: meticulous attention to detail, seamless organisation, and an intuitive understanding of high-expectation guests. I’m also a mother of three teenagers, which brings a practical, real-world understanding of comfort, flow and functionality—ensuring homes are not only beautiful, but truly liveable. I manage each property with care, professionalism and calm efficiency, creating refined, effortless stays for guests and complete peace of mind for owners.
Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
What I love most about the Côte d’Azur is its effortless rhythm and quality of life. Living in the 06 means days shaped by sunshine, outdoor living and a natural connection between the sea and the hills. Life flows easily here — from morning swims to beach days, long summer lunches by the water and lazy afternoons where time slows down. The coastline plays a central role in the lifestyle I love. Summer is about barefoot walks to the beach, saltwater swims, relaxed days under the sun and spontaneous meals at waterfront restaurants. Long lunches often stretch into the afternoon, shared with friends and family, filled with fresh food, laughter and no sense of urgency. Even at the height of the season, there is an understated elegance that feels natural rather than staged. Beyond the beaches and glamour, what truly defines the area for me is its authenticity. Hilltop villages, local markets, hidden swimming spots and family-run restaurants sit just minutes from the coast. I love this contrast — refined yet relaxed, elegant yet grounded. The Côte d’Azur is not about excess, but about quality: of time, surroundings and experiences. Born and living in France, and as a mother of three teenagers, I value how this environment supports both family life and a high standard of living. It offers freedom, safety and an exceptional balance between energy and calm. This connection to the region shapes the way I welcome guests and care for homes. I aim to reflect the true spirit of the Côte d’Azur: light-filled spaces, effortless comfort and an atmosphere that invites guests to slow down, unwind and experience the Riviera as it is meant to be lived — through sun, sea, shared meals and the simple pleasure of living well.
Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig
What makes Maison Véronique truly unique is the way it blends Provençal heritage with quiet, contemporary luxury. Built from ancient stone and shaped by time, the house carries a sense of history that can be felt rather than seen — old walls, time-worn materials and architectural details that hold hidden stories from another era. While the soul of the home remains deeply rooted in Provence, every space has been fully updated and carefully elevated to meet the expectations of a high-net-worth clientele. Comfort is effortless, technology is discreet, and design choices are intentional, allowing the character of the house to speak without distraction. Nothing is overdone; luxury here is expressed through quality, calm and authenticity. The stone walls bring natural coolness in summer and a sense of protection and serenity year-round. Light moves gently through the interiors, highlighting textures and creating a soft dialogue between old and new. Indoors and outdoors flow seamlessly, encouraging long lunches, unhurried days and evenings that extend naturally into the night. What sets Maison Véronique apart is its atmosphere. It is not a showcase home, but a deeply liveable one — elegant without formality, refined without excess. The house invites guests to slow down, settle in and experience a more intimate side of the Côte d’Azur, away from spectacle and noise. Maison Véronique is designed for those who appreciate understated luxury, privacy and a strong sense of place. It offers a rare combination of authenticity, discretion and elevated comfort — a Provençal home where history, beauty and modern living exist in perfect balance.
