Villa Solar is a contemporary villa with a brand new optionally heated pool (as of December 2024), located only 150m above the ocean and the sandy beach of Calheta. Positioned in a quiet neighbourhood of just a few villas near Casa Das Mudas (contemporary art centre) offering unobstructed ocean and sunset views. The property has fiber optics Wi-Fi internet connection with 200Mbit throughput offering more than enough speed for all your needs, including upload demanding remote workers.

The Villa is located in Calheta - south coast of the Island and considered one of the warmest places on the island, with close proximity to the sandy beach, beautiful levada walks, amazing nature and attractions. The Villa is south facing with sunshine all day long, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic, countryside and breathtaking sunset views during most of the year.

Recently built in contemporary style incorporating large glass areas providing excellent light and sunshine exposure to the inside. The villa has a heated outside pool offering excellent swimming conditions year round.

The pool can be heated with additional cost of 30 EUR per day. The heating of the pool is possible only over the entire stay and cannot be switched on or off mid-stay. Please note it takes 2-3 days to heat up the water, so the decision should be communicated at least 2 days in advance.
