Two stunning, characterful cottages situated in the pretty village of Walsingham in the serene Norfolk countryside. Sleeping 12 guests in the two properties and boasting a lovely, spacious garden, you can enjoy a fantastic break with all the family.
Both cottages exude character and charm with beamed ceilings and flagstone flooring. This, combined with modern décor and furnishings, make the properties feel like homes from home. The main cottage has a spacious lounge/diner with places to sit at eat or watch TV in front of the warming wood burners. The country-style kitchen has everything you need to cook a feast for everyone, and a second dining area is situated in a conservatory overlooking the courtyard. One bedroom, a super-king with an en-suite bathroom, is on the ground floor, and the other four bedrooms are upstairs, two with en-suite bathrooms, along with a family bathroom. The second cottage is cosy, containing an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner underneath a high, vaulted ceiling, alongside a sumptuous double bedroom and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the properties share a courtyard which has seating areas, a fire pit, and a large lawn space for playing around. Private parking is available for three cars.
If you can tear yourselves away from these lovely homes, you will find a couple of shops and pubs within the village, and the beach within easy reach. The stunning golden shores of Wells-next-the-Sea is 6 miles away, while Holkham, another popular beach, is 9 miles. The whole family will love a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point (8 miles) or admiring the gardens at Holkham Hall (6 miles).
