Leeds Castle (7 miles) is close by and is the ideal place to enjoy a wander around the grounds and get lost in its hedge maze. Another historic choice is Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens (9 miles). Keen wine enthusiasts will love the proximity to Balfour Winery (5 miles), while those seeking wildlife spotting and breathtaking views will want to spend the day rambling across the enchanting Wye National Nature Reserve (25 miles).
