This welcoming property is set within a historic Grade II-listed house in the heart of Tollard Royal village and less than half a mile from the local pub. Situated on a 7,000-acre estate, there's no shortage of activities to enjoy in this idyllic, rural spot. Walkers can explore numerous trails, while golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 18-hole Rushmore Golf Course nearby. Larmer Tree Victorian Pleasure Gardens are within 1 mile, and Salisbury Cathedral or New Forest National Park are easily accessible by car as both are within 18 miles. Shaftesbury, with its charming high street, independent shops and choice of eateries, is only 8 miles away. Or why not take a stroll along park walk and admire the far-reaching views of Blackmore Vale, or visit idyllic Gold Hill?
A private entrance door leads into this attached two-bedroom apartment, which forms part of a historic house. Formerly servant's quarters, the property has been lovingly refurbished in 2024 to provide a wonderful base for four. Head up a small flight of stairs where you'll find a sociable open-plan living space, with a large bay window that floods the room with light. A window seat and table create the perfect spot for leisurely meals, which you can prepare in the open-plan kitchen. There is comfortable seating within this room too, so you can settle down beside the wood burner and watch a show on the Smart TV. Leading from this room are the two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is serviced by an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Heading outside you'll find a level lawn, often used for croquet, a short distance from the property entrance. Although open to the wider garden, this area is a dedicated space for the apartment.
