This two-bedroom, dog-friendly cottage, which sleeps four guests, is situated in Wells-next-the-Sea and is the perfect place to experience Norfolk''s sun, sea and salty air as a couple or small family. With a wood burner for cosy winter evenings in and a garden for dining under the stars, it is just a 500-metre stroll from the coastal town''s quay.
Step inside the pretty, red-brick cottage, which sits at the end of the attractive terrace overlooking a green. Gather in the lounge on those cosy evenings you decide to stay in, perhaps in front of the Smart TV or with your holiday read. Lay a fire in the wood burner in here on chilly days. The kitchen/diner is also a great place to congregate. Here you can take turns at preparing the wealth of local produce you can buy in Wells, before calling everyone to join you at the table. A useful utility room and a family shower room, with a WC, are also downstairs. The bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, which can also be made up as a super-king by prior agreement, are both on the first floor of the cottage. There is also a lovely family bathroom up here where you can wallow in the free-standing bath and gaze out across the charming green. Take a chilled bottle of wine and glasses out into the garden on summer nights. Have coffee out here too on warm mornings before heading off for the day.
Spend time on the magnificent sandy beach at Wells, 1.5 miles from the cottage. Stunning Holkham Beach, 3 miles away, is also well worth a visit. Visit the stately home of Holkham Hall, also 3 miles away, during your stay.
