This Stylishly restored old chapel has a luxurious modern contemporary feel. Resulting in a fabulous holiday home for 2-4 people
Situated in the quiet village of Syderstone that boasts its own common and nature reserve, ( Norfolk wildlife trust) 2 minutes walk from the front door. This is a perfect place to stay in the heart of a sleepy village close to Burnham Market and within a 12 minute drive from The north Norfolk coast including Brancaster and Holkham beaches. This property doesn’t accept pets.

Außergewöhnlich

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in der "Old Chapel" in Syderstone. Das haus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir haben uns Sandringham angeschaut, waren am Strand in Holkham und Brancaster, sind durch Burnham Market gebummelt etc. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt und Rückzugsort in Norfolk

Es war eine wundervolle Woche in Syderstones 'Old Wesleyan Chapel' - wir haben die Tage verbummelt, Norfolks Küstenweg durchwandert und uns durch die meeresfrischen Köstlichkeiten der Region geschlemmt. Great location, lovely converted chapel, homely appearance. Check in is via key code so would check you have downloaded it as there is limited to no signal to get into app or emails. Good Size kitchen. Cleaning standards were mainly good few areas that needed some attention. I have addressed this with the owner who is easily contacted. Definitely one to book if visiting surrounding areas of North Norfolk.

Great location and stylish property

This is a lovely property. The style and size is perfect for a family of 4 and a really interesting layout. Our girls are 6&8 and they loved having their own space away from mum and dad. I would suggest not ideal for children much younger due to stairs and bedrooms being apart. Lovely layout, really good shower and very clean. The reading nook is absolutely beautiful space for anyone looking for a tranquil space, a real architectural gem not mentioned much on reviews. The location is great for lots of local attractions as long as you are happy to come back and chill after which we were. Lots a short drive away but the village has nothing walkable. This didn’t impact our stay, it worked well. The property could do with some updated sofas to give a bit more comfort but otherwise amazing property. Thank you vernon

The Old Chapel Syderstone

We were really satisfied with everything about our stay here. It’s an excellent standard, very clean and has all you need. A beautiful setting in a very quiet village. We walked around the nature reserve just a five minute walk away on a lovely summers evening. We found it central to lots of places, Haulkham hall one of them. Communication was very good and helpful. Highly recommend.

An interesting old chapel converted into a smart home

We were very impressed with the appearance and the novelty factor of staying in a chapel. As elderly ladies we found the stairs rather difficult especially as some had no handrail. Would have been useful to have grab rails in the shower cubicles. But we so enjoyed our stay marred only by the unsummery weather and the fact that I (age 86!) sprained my ankle!! But we are both tough women and it had little affect on our great enjoment. Thank you.

Quirky lovely place

Chapel Stay

Perfect location with parking outside. Only small front garden. Very clean and tidy but lower bedroom was slightly cold and took a couple of days to warm up. The ceramic lamps hanging over the dining table were a hazard and heads were bumoed several times as they are too low. Seating needs replacing to accommodate four people. Despite the comments we had a lovely holiday.

Ideal base for our short break

I would highly recommend The Old Chapel which is located in a quiet rural setting, whilst being within easy reach of local North Norfolk attractions. The property was clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was good. We really enjoyed our stay at this charming property.
