You can also choose to step out into the appealing garden, sit on the patio and fire up the BBQ. A real seaside escape, you can enjoy Daymer Bay less than 500 metres from home and make full use of the external shower room in the garden when returning home with sandy bodies, wetsuits and surfboards. Polzeath Beach is another destination for surfing, around 1 mile away and accessible via the South West Coast Path. Take the passenger ferry over to Padstow for a delightful day out, experiencing superb restaurants, visiting the National Lobster Hatchery or starting a hike or bike ride along the mighty Camel Trail (3 miles).
