An attractive fisherman’s cottage set over three levels is perfect for families or friends looking for a relaxing and active seaside holiday. The property is 150 metres from the beach and esplanade and less than a mile from the Boating Lake and golf course. So, bring your buckets and spades and head to this sand and pebble beach, although note that the sand disappears at high tide when rock pooling comes into its own! Sheringham has plenty for foodies to savour with local eateries creating delicious dishes from local ingredients.
Beautifully presented, this property has plenty of character combined with all the contemporary comforts to make this a memorable stay. Downstairs the living room has a wood burner for the cooler months, plenty of space to relax, and cosy corners to snuggle up with a good book. A Smart TV is available for family film nights. The kitchen has all you need to make meal preparation a cinch and leads into a light-filled dining space with French doors out to the garden. A bathroom completes the downstairs offer. On the first floor are a shower room, a king-size bedroom, and a twin bedroom. A second twin bedroom is on the second floor. Outside is perfect for socialising, with an enclosed front garden with seating. Steps lead to a side path, taking you to the enclosed rear garden with a patio area with a raised deck, garden furniture, and BBQ for al fresco dining.
Sheringham is a thriving seaside resort with access to the Norfolk Coast Path, allowing an easy walk to Cromer (4.5 miles). Visit the sandy beaches of Cromer, with its famous pier and shows. The Poppy Line Steam Railway runs from Sheringham inland to the elegant Georgian town of Holt (7.5 miles). The marshes at Cley-next-the-Sea (7.5 miles) and seal colonies at Blakeney (9.5 miles) are a must for nature lovers.
