Two of the bedrooms offer splendid views towards Orford Castle, and there's a family bathroom too. Completing the interior, a utility room houses an additional single bed in the eaves. Step outside and be captivated by the majestic sight of the 12th-century castle, where the patio, surrounded by trees and shrubs, provides an idyllic space to unwind with a refreshing drink at the end of the day.

Conveniently close to Orford’s amenities, the estuary, and the sea, this cottage provides easy access to a recreation area adjacent to the property. Orford Castle, directly opposite and accessible via the property's castle path, awaits exploration, and the energetic can climb to the castle's top for sweeping views over the town and marshes. Nature enthusiasts can venture 0.5 miles to the quay, embark on a boat trip to cross to the Orford Ness National Nature Reserve or Havergate Island, and spend the day hiking along trails while birdwatching. Alternatively, head 7 miles to Rendlesham Forest and explore the woodland on foot, bike, or horseback.
