Set in a quiet village close to the coast, with a good pub and walks from the door, it has a wood burner for winter warmth and a lovely garden for summertime meals - a great choice all year round.

A clever design combines beautiful 19th century features such as exposed beams and flint with gorgeous antique furnishings and modern amenities. Due to its age and character, the house has various levels on all floors throughout. The delightful kitchen has a small snug area at the end of the room, perfect for chatting to the cook. Enjoy your meals at the oak table in the dining room, and after supper you can hunker down in front of the Smart TV in the elegant lounge. On the ground floor there’s also a laundry room and a useful shower room. A Norfolk winder staircase (steeply turning, with narrow treads) takes you to two of the first-floor bedrooms, a king-size and a double, which share a family bathroom. A separate staircase, from the lounge, takes you to two double bedrooms and another shower room. On the second floor, the fifth bedroom is a king-size, with a beautiful wooden sleigh bed, an apex roof and country views. The patio in the enclosed garden boasts a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture, while the lawn (up two steps) is a great place for dogs and children to play.

Quiet walks and trails criss-cross the landscape around the ancient village of Wighton. The beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham can be reached within 5 miles, and the Georgian town of Burnham Market, with its shops and restaurants around the village green, is just 7.5 miles.
