Whip up post-beach dinners in the well-appointed kitchen and come together around the dining table for evenings of Yorkshire fare and stacks of laughter. Take your nightcap out to the gorgeous courtyard garden and sip against the starlight backdrop. Follow steep, cottage-style steps up to the first floor, where a delightfully decorated double bedroom provides a great night's rest, while on the top floor sits a handy twin room with a beautiful beamed, vaulted ceiling. In the morning, freshen up in the first-floor family bathroom and prepare a hearty breakfast ready for the busy day ahead.

You'll be right in the centre of the action at this stunning seaside property. Within an easy walk, visit the many shops and eateries on your doorstep, while a short distance takes you to the renowned Whitby Abbey. Climb the 199 steps to the top and grab some magnificent snaps of the coastline and headland. Tate Hill Beach is a mere 100 metres from the cottage and provides long sun, sea and sandcastle days, while the traditional seaside pier of Whitby provides classic donkey rides, cafes, and a plethora of ice cream parlours (0.5 miles).
