We have a beautiful Apartment which is perfect for couples and families and only a short walk to Whtiby harbour.

The apartment is perfect for a romantic break, enjoy a few drinks round the corner on Skinner Street, fish and chips on Silver Street and the famous Bothams of Whitby bakery on Skinner Street! It’s a lovely area for families with a short walk to the Whale bones, Pannett park, beach and leisure centre.
(Please do not book this apartment if you have mobility issues).

Full Description:
Our beautiful one bedroom first floor apartment on Crescent Avenue includes:

Bedroom with King size bed including draws, dressing table with large mirror and full length mirror. TV with amazon prime thru free WiFi and an Alexa dot.
Hairdryer. Beautiful view of the Abbey from the bedroom window !

Bathroom: with full size bath / electric shower over, sink and toilet. LED mirror. Heated towel rail and fan.

Kitchen / lounge:
Kitchen with undercounter fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric hob and oven with grill. All the usual kitchen utensils. Table and 2 stools. (Plus 2 extra foldable stools). Radio, Iron/table top iron board. gtech handheld hoover. picnic basket and foldable food carrier.
Front Door with intercom.

Lounge includes large two seater barker & stonehouse sofa (which converts into a double sofa bed for children with mattress/foam topper/feather topper).
Large padded otterman with faux fur throws, Chair and padded footstool. Tv with dvd and amazon prime thru wifi. USB socket for device charging.

Modern Electric radiators which are temperature controlled.

Cupboard with cards/puzzles/games/dvds available for some family time !

Hallway: with set of 5 draws and coat rack.

We provide:

We do not provide:
smart phone plugs

Parking:
We provides a parking scratchcard free for your stay for the W zone which is all the streets around the property however we cannot guarantee, during peak months due to demand, that you will get parked. The closest car park is West Cliff which is behind the street opposite and charges £10.80 per day. Free Dec to Feb. On street parking further afield. Please check North Yorkshire Council Website for parking information.

Full apartment instructions and key code information and video are sent directly via email 48 hours before your stay. General information regarding Whitby/restaurants etc can be found in the apartment.

One set of keys collected at the property entrance via a Key box. Keys to be deposited back into the Key box on check out. Lost keys are chargeable @ £10

There are 4 apartments in the building and only 3 owners holiday let so you shouldn't have any disturbance however we do ask guests to keep noise levels to a normal level to respect the private home.

Whitby itself is situated on the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast and is the perfect place to discover quaint fishing villages such as Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay clinging to the steep cliffs to the north and south.

Now popular with visitors all year round, Whitby is well-known for its sandy beach and fantastic seafood, all of which can be enjoyed no matter what the weather! Whether you're visiting for a romantic retreat, seaside fun, walks along the coast, or dining in quality restaurants, you’ll find that Whitby has it all.

As you make your way inland either on foot or by car, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking moorland vistas surrounding upland villages such as Goathland, Danby and Castleton.

Getting Around:
Whitby train station is just a short 10-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.

We bought this Victorian apartment in 2019 and completed a full update and redecoration. We have also updated the hallways including the entrance victorian tiled floor. We've added planters to the front and on the balcony and it's looking gorgeous !

We've decorated in a homely modern and seaside theme and it's such a cozy feel !

We love this apartment - it's the perfect getaway and the perfect location. We love that it's a short walk from everything and a quiet area.

The building is a Victorian terrace with beautiful old sash windows and features but with a modern decoration internally. There is a bed and breakfast either side which are also very popular!

The apartment is the perfect place for a romantic break, enjoy a few drinks round the corner on Skinner Street, and lovely for families with a short walk to the Whale bones, Pannett park, beach and leisure centre.
