The 16th Arrondissement is home to some of Paris’ most elegant buildings. Tranquil and friendly, this delightful district is filled with cafés, restaurants and one of the city's best green spaces, the lush woods and formal gardens of Bois de Boulogne. It is also home to some fascinating cultural attractions including the Trocadéro, the site of the Palais de Chaillot and where you’ll find some of the city’s most intriguing museums. As soon as you step through the door of this apartment, you know it’s a very special home. The décor is exquisite, with ornate gilding and glittering crystal chandeliers. The living areas are a breathtaking example of neo-classical interior design, with Louis XVI-inspired furniture and enchanting paintings and textiles filling each area with colour. The formal dining room is fit for a king’s banquet, with polished wooden furniture and vintage wallpaper. Every room is more richly decorated than the last, and even the connecting corridor is more like a palace gallery than a walkway. The kitchen is traditionally laid out with blonde wooden cabinets and the latest appliances, which will keep the most discerning of chefs happy. The three bedrooms are a tour-de-force of interior design, each with its own distinctive character. The décor is of the highest standard, with jewel-like wallpapers and harmonising colour themes throughout. All three have sumptuous king-size beds, and two spa-quality bathrooms with indulgent gold fixtures provide both soak tubs and showers for guests. This superb Parisian home is close to transport links, making it easy to explore the rest of the city. It is also within easy reach of some of Paris' hidden gems, such as the enchanting Musée d'Ennery. This private museum is home to a world-class collection of Asian art. - The apartment is on the second floor and there is an elevator available. The fireplaces are ornamental and not for guest use. This home does not accept pets. This home accepts babies , children and toddlers. This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place a fan in the bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. The decor, curtains and bathrooms in this home show some signs of wear. The sofa bed in the office can be prepared for up to two guests if required. Next to the building you have some shops and a market ( once in a week ) which can be a little noisy. There are three toilets in this home. The master ensuite doesn't have a toilet inside it. There are no photographs available.
