The Space:

Brooksbank Lodge offers a warm and inviting countryside retreat set within the peaceful surroundings of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this cosy lodge sleeps up to four guests and is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for a relaxing break in nature.



The open plan living space is bright and welcoming, blending soft neutral tones and comfortable furnishings for a homely feel. Large windows fill the room with natural light, while the seating area provides the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring. The fully equipped kitchen and dining space make cooking and sharing meals together easy and enjoyable.



Step outside onto your private terrace, where you can enjoy fresh air and garden views before sinking into the hot tub for a soothing soak. This peaceful outdoor area is ideal for morning coffee, lazy afternoons and relaxing evenings under the stars.



The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, and the second bedroom includes twin beds, making it ideal for family stays. With two bathrooms, convenience and privacy are ensured for all guests. Brooksbank Lodge is also pet-friendly, meaning your four-legged companions are welcome to join your countryside escape.



Guests also benefit from access to the wider park facilities, including the Bar & Grill, lakeside walks and nine-hole golf course—providing a perfect blend of relaxation, nature and leisure.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date.

Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay.



Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay.

There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times.



Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us.

Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site.



All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park enjoys a peaceful yet convenient location in the heart of Yorkshire, surrounded by countryside while remaining just a short distance from the historic city of York. Travelling by car is simple, with the park located just off the A1079, around two miles from Pocklington and roughly a 25–30 minute drive from York. The A1(M) and A64 provide excellent connections for those arriving from further afield, and each lodge includes free on-site parking for easy access throughout your stay.



If you’re travelling by train, York Railway Station offers direct connections to London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From there, taxis and car hire options make reaching the park quick and straightforward. Bus services also run regularly between York and Pocklington, with the final stretch from Pocklington to the park taking only a few minutes by taxi.



Guests can explore local highlights such as Pocklington’s independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, or enjoy walks and bike rides through Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve nearby.
