This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment was well-suited for our large group. The beds were comfortable, the living areas were roomy, and the location was excellent. The host was friendly, responsive, and genuinely hospitable throughout our stay.Unfortunately, ongoing plumbing issues significantly affected our experience. During much of our stay, both bathrooms were impacted by a strong sewage odor that at times spread throughout the apartment. On one occasion, after returning from the beach, we entered the apartment and were immediately met by an overwhelming smell resembling rotted onions and sewage. While maintenance efforts temporarily reduced the sewage odor, it was later replaced by a strong chemical smell that lingered for an extended period.We also experienced drainage problems in both bathrooms. The showers did not drain properly, causing water to back up and overflow onto the floors. We had to use towels and a mop to clean up the excess water, which was inconvenient and concerning. To the host’s credit, they responded promptly and made repeated efforts to address the issues. However, despite those efforts, the odor and drainage problems persisted and had a noticeable impact on our comfort and enjoyment of the property.Overall, the apartment has many positive qualities and the host was accommodating and attentive. However, the underlying plumbing and sewer issues need to be permanently resolved, as future guests may experience the same problems we encountered.
