Das Haus sowie die Einrichtung wurden komplett erneuert. Der Strand ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß und die Stadt ist 5 Autominuten entfernt. Sie werden die Einrichtung und die Privatsphäre lieben! Modern comfort

We loved our stay. The home was super clean and very comfortable. The yard area was large and very private. It's a short walk to the beach walk-over and washout. We would definitely rent this property again!

Peaceful

We had AC issues the first day, but the manager took care of it immediately. This is a very peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back.

Folly Beach House

The house was just as pictured. A short walk to the beach with probably one of the prettiest beach access trails in Folly Beach. The house is located a short walk, drive or bike ride to many restaurants and shops. Driveway at the house is big enough for a boat and the house allows up to 4 cars.

Vacation beach house

3rd time to stay here. It’s more quiet than near Center st. Easy beach access. Washing machine had error messages. Our friends had traveled for 2 days and wanted to wash clothes. Owner alerted to problem. Great outdoor shower. Could sit on front porch all day!

Very responsive owner

The property owner was very responsive to concerns and questions. The washer and dryer was replaced during our stay and brown towels were delivered. The cost was representative of the property. The property was somewhat small for our group of 4 and bathrooms were outdated but adequate. Outdoor shower was nice. Better porch furniture would have been nice.

Just a few things

Overall the property was not bad, just a few things. 1. The property was very dusty under the beds and on console in living room. Other than that the rest of the property was clean. 2. The air conditioner condenser fan stopped working, it got to 82 degrees in the house. I called the owner and he was very respondent and sent over someone to bring in two floor units with vent into the windows. We still had three days left and as this wasn’t ideal and perfect, they did help somewhat and got rid of some of the heat. When the guy got there, the condenser did kick on, but he said there was something wrong with it and it wasn’t able to keep up with the heat. 3. The reason that there are ticks and bugs is because it seems as though some people are using pine needles as mulch, which is crazy, never seen that before in my life. If you wanna get rid of the ticks and bugs get rid of the pine needles maybe put some pea gravel down instead. It doesn’t even look appealing not sure why everybody is using it.

We enjoyed the time at the beach but there were challenges

When I was looking at the website for a place for my sister and I to get away from the city for a birthday weekend there were a few things that I looked for specifically. For a 2 bedroom house with close proximity to the beach that had TV's in the bedrooms and a good cleaning rating. After walking in and choosing our bedrooms, I noticed black mold all around the air condition vents, especially the ones in the living Room. It was concerning but I did not make an issue of it. We went on about our evening and when I went to bed I quickly realized that the TV in my bedroom did not get all of the channels listed on the ammenities, but only a single channel that gave instruction on using car parts. So I turned off the provided TV and used my laptop instead to stream Netflix. After crawling into bed I started sneezing and itching . I Got up to check the sheets and realized that little black hairs were all over the sheets pillowcases and comforter. I am allergic to dog and cat dander. I had to strip all the linens off the bed and wash them before using them. The next morning I asked my sister about her linens and they were covered in animal hair as well. We had to wash all of her bed linens. When I reported this to the homeowner via email he did not respond or comment but I did get a call from the cleaning service who offered to bring us other sheets. We opted to keep the sheets that we had since we had already gone through the process of washing them to ensure they were clean. I also informed the home owner of the black mold around the vents and that the TV in one bedroom was not working properly. He offered to call Comcast to fix the tv service but stated that I would need to be there when they came out so I would need to call him the next day at a specific time to talk with him and comcast about it. I informed him that 10am would be good. The next morning I called him at 10:00 a.m. ,10:15am and at 10:30 and got no answer from him so we opted not to do this as we had a busy week planned. He did call me back at 2 that day saying he was busy earlier. I later sent an email to the homeowner regarding all of these issues and informed him I definitely wanted to have my cleaning deposit back and anything else that he felt was reasonable compensation for what we dealt with. What I received was my cleaning deposit but no other Acknowledgment or compensation for any of the isseus. In summary I would definitely not rent from him again.

We received a call from the renter and immediately called the cleaning company to address the linens and also the dirt around the vents which was not mold. We also asked them if they tried the inputs on the TV’s and they replied yes, so we contacted Comcast immediately. They send they were heading out and tomorrow would be better. We stated we would call in the am, but we rang around 2 and that would not work. They told us not to worry about it. After leaving the guest then wanted money of course, so we returned the cleaning fee which we already said we would and offered 2 free nights in the future, which they denied. We also went to the property the next week and there were not any issues with any of the 3 TV’s. The dirt around the vents had been cleaned and we have replaced all linens. We really take pride in our home and we constantly try to continue to update items and keep it as comfortable for a guest as possible.

Nice, clean beach cottage

This is a great property. It has been renovated, but the bathrooms still need to work. Very close to the beach. Loved the minimal decor. It made the house feel clean and “beachy”.

Great spot!

Super quiet location with plenty of activity and night life just a few blocks away! The beach access is super close. We walked to it in the dark (easy!) to watch the sunrise a few times and completely felt safe doing it. The house is small, but had everything we needed! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the ocean!

Nice home, great location

We have stayed here our last 3 vacations to Folly Beach. It is perfect for us. It has everything we need for a great vacation. It is clean, comfortable and only minutes from beach access. There were many updates this year that were very nice. Will always stay here if possible.

Great home and location

The home was in a great location on Folly Beach. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beach is a short walk and having the outdoor shower was a bonus after being at the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot tucked into shade and view of marsh. Can hear the ocean from the porch 🙏🏼 Little expensive when comparing homes now that I’ve visited! But I’m trilled with this home!

Wonderful Stay

The property is exactly as shown. Very clean. We loved having coffee in the mornings on all sides of the deck. This property has more privacy than most on Folly Beach. You have your own driveway, and that makes parking a breeze and hassle free. The beach is a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again without hesitation.
