Dear Gabriella, I'd like to explain that renting an apartment on Airbnb isn't like booking a B&B or a hotel. This means that services like breakfast aren't offered (although we do leave complimentary coffee and tea pods, as well as white and brown sugar for guests), which is why I mentioned that restocking wasn't possible. The same goes for soap and toilet paper; they're provided, but not in unlimited quantities. Regarding check-in, as soon as you arrived and called, we immediately showed up PERSONALLY to show you how and where to park and where the house was located. Regarding the cleanliness of the house and this review itself, I find it false, offensive, and clearly a sign of spite for not having been satisfied your request. The house was left in a shameful state, to say the least. I have several videos documenting its condition, which I have kindly decided not to use to request a refund. Dirty dishes in the sink (whereas it's clearly marked that the kitchen must be left clean. Evidently, the "new sponge" wasn't used!), the organic waste bin left to drain on the kitchen counter in front of the window (we found a putrid, fly-filled puddle), dripped candles on the plates and wooden table, the toilet left worse than a public restroom, all sorts of trash left around the house (I don't know how many empty bottles and cans I counted), pizza leftovers left to rot in the oven, two towels so dirty and brown that after a 90° wash I had to throw them away. The work of others must be respected, and we shouldn't presumptuously pretend to be able to treat others however we want just because we pay. Sincerely,
