Feather Hill Lodge consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with electric fire, a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, and two bedrooms: a king-size with TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin. Central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, wine chiller, toaster. Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Travel cot available. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed decking with furniture. No pets and no smoking. Shop 0.5 miles, pub 0.6 miles.

Explore Brockhole Visitor Centre with tree-top adventures and childrens play park which is close by - boats to Ambleside and Bowness call in here along with some Lake Cruises in season. There are also some charming walks and bridleways to explore directly from here up into the beautiful Troutbeck Valley and across to Wansfell, as well as the gardens at Holehird, which are run entirely by volunteers and are an enchanting and inspiring place to explore. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life.
