Lovely walks along the old Louth to Grimsby canal. The old railway walk is nearby and great for dog walking and a favourite with the locals. A nice walk to Westgate Fields and Hubbards Hills, all within a comfortable walking distance from the cottage.
Fancy jumping in the car? Maybe a day in Historic Lincoln, a trip to the many sandy coastal beaches, check out Just Jane (Lancaster Bomber) at East Kirkby Aviation Centre or The Wolds Wildlife Park between Horncastle and Louth.
