Cottage-Ensuite-Swallow

Swallow cottage is our one bed cottage. It has good size lounge with cuddle sofa two chairs and new laminate flooring. There is a 50" LCD smart TV with DVD player. The bedroom is also a good size with a king size bed with pine bedside tables and small TV on the dressing table. Duvet covers and towels are included in the price.
The kitchen is a dining kitchen. It has a oven and hob with extractor hood, fridge and microwave. It is well equipped with a good selection of utensils. The bathroom has recently been refitted with new white bath with shower over, toilet and basin, also chrome fitments, mirror and shaving point.
The heating is oil fired and all radiators are thermostatically controlled
The cottage overlooks an ornamental patio with a selection of tubs filled with seasonal flowers. There is a table and chairs where you can sit and relax.
There is safe off road parking for your car. Free wireless internet access available.
Swallow cottage is ideal for relaxing or taking gentle strolls around our village. We are ideally located for visiting the coast or the deserted Wolds. The local market town of Louth has interesting shops and church. Being in a rural location there is plenty of wild life to see and we are often visited by a barn owl either early in the morning or late afternoon.

Tawny Owl has a King size bed. There is a 28" LCD TV. On clear nights you can see the stars through the Velux windows. The ceiling is high pitched with antique effect beams. The bathroom is a wet room which is disable friendly. This room has French doors opening onto the patio. Bathrobes and wine glasses are provided for your relaxation.

Barn Owl has its own entrance from outside. It too has antique effect beams in the ceiling. 32" LCD Smart TV. There is a sofa and tub chair. Along with bathrobes and Duck toiletries.

Our third room, Little Owl is a cosy double room with en-suite facilities. With views over the garden. The room is in an annex leading into the house.

All guest rooms have Excelsior Deluxe 1200 count pocket sprung mattresses with toppers.

Provided in the rooms are tea and coffee making facilities, chilled water, biscuits, hairdryers, radio alarm clock and few accessories you may need.

All rooms are heated by our oil fired central heating system.

All rooms have LCD TV's with Free View.

Fast Wireless Broadband access is available in all rooms.

We also offer 3 self-catering cottages, Cuckoo and Pheasant cottages sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. Swallow cottage sleeps 2 in a King size bed.

No pets in the Guest House, we do take pets in the self-catering.

The same applies for children.

Our Guest House & Self Catering cottages are in the quiet rural village of South Cockerington 5 miles east of Louth. There are no facilities in the village. The nearest shop (co-op), Pub Manby Arms and restaurant / takeaway are 1.5 miles away in Grimoldby.

Cuckoo Pheasant and Swallow cottages all have kitchens with ovens, fridges and microwaves. Bathrooms, Bedrooms and Lounges with large LCD TV's.
