A true family home, Rue de la Planche is exactly what you imagine the perfect Parisian apartment to look like, with many original features tastefully embellished with traditional French décor. Rue de la Planche is just a stone's throw away from some of the capital's major attractions. However, this is a surprisingly quiet neighbourhood with a real family feel. Scratch beneath the surface, and you'll discover a medieval core and the artistic centre of the city where artists and writers would sit in cafés until inspiration struck. The sprawling 7th Arrondissement is home to such iconic Parisian sites as the Eiffel Tower and the Museé d'Orsay. With restaurants galore and plenty of high-end boutiques to explore, it's an eclectic part of the city with plenty of personality. From the moment you step into Rue de la Planche, you're struck by its sophistication and grace. The interior is meticulously designed to make the most of the classical features, from the ornate cornicing on the ceilings to the rich herringbone wooden floors. The sitting room is bright and airy, with large windows that let the light flood in and provide soothing garden views. Double doors lead onto the formal dining room, complete with a large mirror and carved sideboard.
