A bit further afield is the town of Southwold with the famous Adnams brewery where you can take a tour and have tastings, an array of independent shops and restaurants and not forgetting the traditional pier and colourful beach huts. There is a foot ferry over to Walberswick, famous for the world crabbing championships. Fancy a day on a boat? then pop along to the Norfolk Broads and take out a boat or go on a kayaking tour through tranquil lakes, bird spotting safaris or a sunset paddle board.
