This very unique detached cottage and totally private garden is located in a wonderful rural spot in Stainton Village, close to Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. It is perfect for romantic couples wanting to get away from it all and for those travelling for business requiring short or longer stays. Totally private with its own fully enclosed garden and seating area, providing a lovely sun trap. Recently refurbished to provide a cosy, comfortable and 'home from home' experience.

Set in a beautiful small village with the prettiest countryside and many other villages on the door step. Turn left out of the property and you are in the countryside. Turn right and you are close to the shops, towns, villages, and the A19 and A1 motorways. Very close to the Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales.

This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home and somewhere to chill out and relax.

So much to see and do. The North Yorkshire Moors with many lovely pubs and restaurants. The Dales including Whitby and Scarbrough, Durham and it's famous Cathedral. Lindisfarne, Richmond Castle, Beamish Museum, High Force, Hadrian's Wall, Great Ayton, Roseberry Topping, Alnwick Castle (Harry Potter), Newcastle, Northumberland, Stokesley, Helmsley, North Allerton and many more pretty places to visit. The nearest beaches are at Seaton Carew, Marske and Saltburn by the Sea.

The cottage is compact and fully self-contained with everything you need and plenty of storage space. There is a large lounge, kitchen, bathroom and one double bedroom. There are smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. The property has a fireplace and fire to keep you cosy and warm during your stay and a full heating system.

You will have undisturbed access to the enclosed private garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, fridge-freezer, a hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

You will be provided with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cooking oil, condiments and sauces.

The bathroom benefits from a large double walk in shower, toilet and wash basin. You will be provided with shower gel, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, cotton wool, a hairdryer and a make up mirror.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

There is on and off road parking to the side of the property next to the fencing. The property is in a small cul de sac. It is in a small very quiet village. So quiet, you can hear the birds singing!!!

We will leave a 'Guide' to the property and our details in the Cottage in the event you need to make contact, but we will leave you in peace to fully enjoy your time in Yorkshire.

You will find maps, details of walks & places to visit in the desk drawer. There is also a book library for your pleasure.

As a warm welcome gesture, there will be a bottle of chilled Prosecco and chocolate waiting for you on your arrival.

Just around the corner is The Stainton Inn for drinks. Close by is Lingfield Farm, The Manor House and The Posthouse Hotel for food & drinks. The Gables will re-open shortly.

Coulby Newham shopping centre is a few minutes away with McDonalds & Burger King and a large Tesco with cash machines, Aldi and B&M. There is also a leisure centre with swimming pool and Bannatynes Fitness & Health Centre.
