From the ferry, it’s a 10-minute drive through Sandbank and Dunoon to the quiet residential area of Laudervale Gardens.
If travelling by public transport, take the train from Glasgow Central to Gourock (approx. 1 hour), then a short ferry ride to Dunoon town centre. From the ferry terminal, local buses or taxis can take you directly to the property.

Layout seemed generally aimed toward photos rather than users - most surfaces were required moving items before use (couch, bed tables), closet with drawers, living room bathroom both partially blocked by a side table. Kitchen was stocked (with a sharp knife, loved that), radiators individually controlled by user not a thermostat, also a big plus. Close to the main strip in town, stores and parks within walking distance. Shower leaked water everywhere, bathroom otherwise pleasant to use.

The apartment is beautifully finished; good bedlinen, comfy bed, roomy fridge and classy touches everywhere. We’d noticed there was no can-opener and the owner kindly brought one the next day.
Sofa could be more comfy and the people before us did a really bad job of their washing up.
The only thing I really objected to was the up to 10 day delay before getting our £200 deposit back. Not acceptable. Should be able to inspect and return deposit on the day of departure.

To be honest, the location and parking was great. Near to restaurants, bars and the loch 10 out of 10. Everything else was below par! The owners were very nice people but I wasn't there to visit them. They took out the dishwasher which was another reason I picked this place. The excuse. People kept breaking it!. There was a damp smell in the kitchen that turned us off From using it.. We chose to have breakfast out with.The hose in the shower was leaking everywhere. The owners came and fixed it.2nd bedroom bed, was a on a makeshift base and the whole mattress moved. Living room furniture had stains all over it.We were there for a wedding, and spent most of our time out of the apartment. It wasn't all bad but it could've been much much better.
