Das südlichste Haus auf dem 3.000 Hektar großen historischen Familienbesitz @ Crook Point Vacations in Pistol River, Oregon. Das Headland House bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Pazifischen Ozean und die Landspitze südlich von Mack Point. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang über eine leicht abfallende Straße entfernt. So wird Ihr Urlaub hier zu einem wundervollen Familien- oder Gruppenerlebnis. Genießen Sie die Privatsphäre des Burnt Hill Beach (Zugang zum Strand ist für die Öffentlichkeit gesperrt) oder genießen Sie den großen Wellnessbereich mit Blick auf den Ozean.

Das Headland House ist ein zweistöckiges Haus mit fünf Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern, das den Komfort von mehreren Schlafzimmern und zwei Wohnzimmern bietet und sowohl Privatsphäre als auch Gruppenerlebnisse ermöglicht. Das Headland House bietet offene Balken, einen großen Kamin (Holz vorhanden), eine große Terrasse, ein Spa im Freien, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und hochwertige Bettwäsche mit Daunendecken. Bis zu 14 Gäste können bequem untergebracht werden. Wir sind tierfreundlich - also sind auch pelzige Familienmitglieder herzlich willkommen! Insgesamt 4 Häuser befinden sich an diesem Standort in Burnt Hill Beach.

Wir haben eine Beziehung mit einem lokalen Kajakunternehmen, Wilderness Canyon Adventures, aufgenommen, das von Luke Martinez vom Pistol River geleitet wird. Er bietet Ausflüge direkt an unseren Privatstränden exklusiv für Crook Point-Gäste an. Sie können mit den vor der Küste wandernden Grauwalen paddeln, nach Schnapper oder Leng Kabeljau fischen oder einfach mit einem Paddel durch die vor der Küste gelegenen Meereshöhlen fahren. Dies ist ein erstaunlicher Ausflug und eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, unsere einzigartige und majestätische Küste zu genießen. Such a wonderful place to relax! The fire pit and hit tub were both so refreshing, and the view is spectacular! The beds were comfortabke enough, and there was plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The only confusing part about check-in was that the binder in the house mentioned a second key that we did not have. The place was mostly clean, but could use a good detail. There were spots that you can tell were overlooked for a while, but could easily be missed during a routine turn-over. Other than that, we were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Spring break family vacay

There were 14 of us and it fit our needs well. The home and grounds are beautiful. The appliances are a bit dated, but the staff were quick to respond to any needs and requests. The hot tub was a hit and semi private beach were amazing. It's a short drive to the redwoods and other attractions. I highly recommend Harris Beach State Park. We had a wonderful time

Was impressed the moment we walked in.

There were 5 couples, one single and a child. We were all completely comfortable. We were celebrated my 65th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the walks in the beach, soak in the hot tub, biking,peace and quiet.....in between tons of laughter! We will definitely be back. Only one comment...... It would be nice to have a king bed in the master. Was surprised to find a queen bed. Other than that it was terrific! Next time we will book a few extra days;)

Amazing property with great views!

This house was perfectly set up for our large family. We had such a wonderful time! The only reason I am not rating it 5 stars is the hot tub was not working or available during our stay. Our family booked about a year in advance and the host decided to replace the hot tub before we stayed and the new hot tub was not ready. They had updated the ad to let others know, but didn’t reach out to let us know. I didn’t realize the hot tub was not available until a day or two before our trip so I didn’t have time to cancel and look for other rentals with a hot tub in the area which was a bummer since my mom had just gotten hip surgery and was really looking forward to the warm soaks. While my family was disappointed to not be able to use the hot tub during our stay, we still had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Beds were very comfortable. View was amazing. House was clean and well organized. Location was great.

We had a family reunion and rented Headland House and Nautilus House next door for 5 days. Headland House accommodated 10 adults and 5 teenage to 20s 'children' very comfortably. The bunk room was great for the 'kids', and all the adults had the space they needed. Comfortable beds all around! The private beach below was the site of the daily wave jumping which always ended with a group warm up in the hot tub. (We purchased a 6' length of tubing for less than $5 from the hardware store in Brookings to siphon the sand out of the hot tub. Even with rinsing well with the provided hose, it was impossible to keep all the sand out.) The hot tub was also a great place for non wave jumpers to just sit and relax. Never have had a better view from a hot tub! The kitchen had everything we needed to do all of our cooking at the house. It is ideally set up for large groups. There is a large table indoors, and a picnic table on the spacious deck just off the kitchen. The only thing missing was some deck furniture. It would have been nice to have some deck chairs to be able to relax out on the deck and listen to the ocean.

A Cheerful Stay for My Extended Family of 16

Halfway between Gold Beach and Brookings, it was ideal for our adventure outing days and our relaxed inning days. We explored the Rogue River, the Chetco, trails through the Myrtlewood forest, and a couple of Disc Golf parks. Other days we played at the house, on the beach, dipped in the hottub, relaxed on the deck, or trounced the children in brutal board games.

Beautiful place for family get together

The property sits on a beautiful piece of ocean landscape. The home is large enough for 15 of us to have several groups enjoying games, talking etc. The Wi-Fi was a nice addition. The serving dishes/platters were awesome for our large group We have stayed at this home previously and it has aged and become a little worn down since our last visit. My comments below are to improve the stay for others. It would be helpful to have screens on the front and back doors to allow for air flow. We were hot with the doors closed but had to deal with flies when opened. The refrigerators both were problematic with water leaking upstairs (needed a towel on the floor) and both freezing/ruining our produce if left on the bottom 2 shelves. We had to buy toilet paper, soap, more dishtowels (only 2 provided), corkscrew for our wine. And briquettes because there was no indication it was not a gas grill for cooking outside. The kitchen could be better stocked too (need a pancake griddle, some thing to clean the pans, better quality pans that don’t stick etc.) Of course, everyone talks about the hot tub not working. I actually communicated with Kathleen about this and the BBQ/grill about a month before our stay and it seemed it was not going to be a problem. However, the hot tub was never working for us. I think this needs to be removed from he listing until it can be replaced for good. The wooden table outside/benches also are falling apart (splinters)

Great spot

We always love our stay here. Unfortunately there were issues with the hot tub while we were there. The property management was great about responding and sending the maintenance team out same day, but it unfortunately didn’t resolve it. Functional WiFi has been installed, which was great!

Fantasic Property

Can't say enough about this gorgeous property. There were 12 of us in the Headland House which accommodated us very well. The home is nice, had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We had wonderful weather and were able to use the deck which has a beautiful view of the ocean. The hot tub overlooking the cove was fantastic and having easy access to the beach was great. Overall we all had a wonderful time, We will stay here again, highly recommeded!

We were very excited to get our extended family together in a long time. We were happy with the layout of the house and the rooms and the view from the house was amazing. One thing I would recommend for families/groups that have extended stays, is better kitchen equipment and utensils. We realize the stove is being replaced, but it was very difficult to cook for 14 with the pots and pans available as well as the cooking utensils. Other than some cleanliness and maintenance issues, everybody had a wonderful time and we appreciate the time we were able to spend together due to your facilities, Thank You!

Not what we expected

We booked this house for a fun girl's weekend. The location and the layout of the house is great! As it was in the winter, we were really looking forward to a cozy fire and even checked with the owners ahead of time to be sure that wood was provided. Although there was wood for a fire, there was no kindling and no lighter or matches. There was no blow dryer in any of the bathrooms. We planned on using the blender but there was no blender. When we asked about that we were told someone would bring us one but that never happened. There were clumps of dog hair on the stairs and in many other places. We do not feel the house was properly cleaned. There were 10 girls but an insufficient number of glasses. We literally had to take turns using the four wine glasses that were provided. There were not enough wash cloths and at least 4 of the electrical outlets do not work. We put a lot of thought into choosing this house for our special girl's trip. All of these things did have a negative impact on our trip. Although we did experience quite a few things wrong with the house, communication from the owners would have made a huge difference! We sent several emails with no response. Two weeks after our stay we did receive a response and were refunded $100 for our inconveniences.

Such a beautiful home for relaxing

We had a great time in this very clean home with beautiful views. It was an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of towels which was nice. The beds were very comfortable. We hope to come back someday.
