This beautifully designed lodge, set just 100 metres down a wooded path from pretty Roadford Lake, is perfect for families or friends looking for a restful or active holiday in Devon and Cornwall. Spend your days soaking in the tranquil lakeside setting or head to the nearby water sports centre (1.5 miles), where you can try kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing, climbing, high ropes and archery. Surrounded by charming villages and spectacular landscapes, this is an ideal spot for those who love the outdoors. Dartmoor National Park and National Trust Lydford Gorge are within 10 miles, offering breathtaking landscapes and hiking and walking opportunities.
Step into a stylish and inviting lodge thoughtfully designed for comfort and providing plenty of social spaces to spend quality time together. The open-plan living area boasts plenty of natural light and a lovely lounge, kitchen, and dining space, making relaxing, cooking, and socialising easy. Cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen with all the necessary appliances, enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table and then retire to the cosy sofas to catch up on a box set on the Smart TV. The lodge features three bedrooms, all with Smart TVs – an en-suite king-size and two twins. A large, contemporary family bathroom completes the features of this lovely lodge. Outside, you’ll find a south-facing terrace where you can admire the scenic open-field views – a wonderful spot for morning coffee, alfresco dining, or sunset drinks. Fire up the BBQ and eat on the enclosed patio. Private parking is available for two cars.
Situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, you can easily access popular destinations, including Bude (20 miles), where you’ll find golden beaches, independent shops, and a range of delicious eateries. Other must-visit attractions include Yelverton Rock, Tavistock – home of the cream tea – and the legendary Tintagel Castle, all within 25 miles.
