Welcome to our cozy and comfortable home. Nestled in the peaceful village of Rosewell, this lovely house offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and charming countryside character, making it an ideal retreat for families, couples, or small groups looking to unwind and explore Midlothian.
Welcome to our spacious and comfortable three-bedroom, multi-level home, perfectly suited for families, groups, or friends looking for a relaxed base just outside Edinburgh.
Set over multiple levels, the house offers plenty of space to spread out while still feeling cosy and homely after a day of exploring.
PLEASE READ: While the listing states a maximum of 5 people, we can accommodate, 5 adults and 3 children under the age of 16. We have had to limit this due to scottish licensing laws. Please let us know the ages of children accompanying you.

All bedrooms are located on the first floor and are thoughtfully set up for a great night’s sleep:

Located in Rosewell (near Roslin), you’re in a peaceful village setting just outside Edinburgh, with quick access to the city and some of the best countryside in the area.

Edinburgh City Centre: around 30–35 minutes by car/taxi (traffic dependent)
Edinburgh Airport: around 30–40 minutes by car
Nearest train: Eskbank (Borders Railway) is a convenient option for links into Edinburgh (a short drive away)
Buses: local bus routes connect Rosewell/Roslin with Midlothian and Edinburgh (ideal if you’re not driving)
Nature & nearby days out
Pentland Hills Regional Park: a top spot for walking, cycling and big views, great for a half-day escape into nature
Roslin Glen Country Park: beautiful woodland trails and riverside walks close by
Rosslyn Chapel: one of Scotland’s most famous historic sites, just a short drive away

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
