Merton Place is a peaceful and stylishly refurbished ground-floor apartment located in the historic heart of Central Southsea. The apartment boasts a master bedroom with king-size bed and luxury mattress; spacious living room with smart TV and ultra-fast WiFi; fully-equipped kitchen, and rare off-road parking. An ideal spot to explore and enjoy Southsea, Portsmouth, and the beautiful surroundings of the Solent area!
Merton Place is a newly refurbished Historic Southsea Apartment. Located in the heart of a historic conservation area known as “Owen’s Southsea”, this ground floor flat is the perfect stylish haven to relax in whilst staying a stone’s throw away from both the bustling Southsea scene and the historic seafront.
The flat has a fully equipped kitchen for all your needs, opening out into a spacious living room which includes a large four-seat dining table and a brand new smart TV. The entire property is fitted with ultra-fast fibre optic WiFi, ideal for working, browsing, gaming or just searching Netflix for that elusive box set…
The master bedroom hosts a king-sized bed fitted with an extra-deep luxury mattress, as well as extensive clothing storage in the form of built-in wardrobes. No need to pack light!
For guests who may need to work, there is the dining table as well as a large desk in the bedroom, both with multiple nearby power outlets to provide ample working facilities.
The apartment also boasts its very own private off-road parking space - a rare find in the heart of Southsea, meaning you can stay at Merton Place without fear of a parking ticket!

Guest will always enjoy exclusive use of the property. Please note that this is a 2 bedroom apartment however the second smaller room is currently unavailable. But rest assured, Guests will always have the entire place to themselves. This is why the property is listed as a 1 bedroom apartment.
Other things to note
Our peaceful and stylish apartment is located a short (5 minute) walk away from local amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and hairdressers. Our central location is an ideal base to explore Southsea and Portsmouth, but for guests who might want to head further afield there are excellent transport links to the Isle of Wight and other locations.
We ask for a £100 security deposit , which is a hold that is put on your credit card before arrival, and released following your stay if no damage occurs.
