Fico! is one of the apartments of "Le Luminarie", a cultural project that aims to enhance the local cultural heritage through the concepts of reuse and creative recycling. Every room of the apartment has a seaview. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. It is fully furnished and has an original style with a hint of vintage. Many of the pieces of furniture are handcrafted, unique upcycled pieces re-created by young local artisans. The apartment is located in a recently renovated nineteenth century building. "Le Luminarie" is a one-of-a-kind project: going beyond mass tourism, it is an opportunity for guests to experience something unforgettable. The apartment has: -a kitchen-living room with sea view, air conditioning, HD TV and a full size sofa bed that can also become a big chaise longue; -a comfortable double bedroom with sea view with a large armoire and a strong box. In the room there is a writing-desk recreated from the Factotum&Co Palermo studio and a beauty corner with a vintage 50s dressing table; -a large bathroom with sea view, with bidet and hair dryer, it is directly accessible from the master bedroom; -a secondary bathroom with sea view, with toilet and sink; -a shared laundry with a washer-dryer, iron, ironing board and drying area. Balestrate is a small town of about 6000 inhabitants, its location directly on the Sea offers optimal conditions for those who love to spend relaxing days on its golden beaches. The joyful atmosphere of the town is confirmed by the kindness of its inhabitants. Within the town there are excellent restaurants where you can enjoy typical Sicilian dishes. The town is also an important tourist hub: in addition to its golden beaches, in fact, from Balestrate is easy to access to wonderful places such as Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, Zingaro Nature Reserve, San Vito lo Capo, Erice, Trapani, Aeolian Islands, Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento and Selinunte. Balestrate is at 30 km from the airport of Palermo Falcone e Borsellino Airport and 50 km from the Trapani low-cost airport. From the port of Palermo the distance is about 40 km. From both airports and the port of Palermo you can reach Balestrate via the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo highway, exit at Balestrate. The building is in front of the railway station, you can move comfortably by train, especially towards Trapani or by bus to Palermo, Trapani and San Vito lo Capo. Apart from the Airbnb price there is a local tax of €1 per person per day that has to be paied at check-in time, kids under 10 yo don't pay.
