Beautiful property in a rural setting . We had a lovely time with our 2 dogs , the property has a large enclosed garden which was ideal for them .Spacious with all amenities , Lesley met us on arrival to show us around - a great service.

The photos do not do the Long Barn justice at all.It is stunning.Met by lovely Lesley who had very kindly left a little welcome hamper and gave me a tour. The house was sparkling clean and my dogs settled quickly and well which was great.The whole house is really accessible and the gardens secure for furry friends. The kitchen was very well equipped and I had everything I could have wanted or needed.Lesley and the home itself were SO welcoming and as a single female traveller I felt very safe and happy. Superfast WiFi available and a little office if work needs to be done.I would recommend to everyone.

Amazing property full of character in quiet remote location. Excellent dacilities including confortable beds and lovely walk in showers. Extremely well equipped for self catering stay. Host provided some lovely exteas including home made cake !!(delicious)

This property was amazing, it had everything you could possibly need plus more I doubt you’ve even thought of!Two bedrooms with a double bed in each and bathroom plus one main bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Ample furnishings in lounge area, courtyard, passageway, study and kitchen. Parking space and a delicious sponge cakes left by Lesley, our host, to enjoy, plus milk, butter, bread and eggs to get us off to a good start.A very thoughtful host and I would not hesitate to stay here again whenever I am in the area.Plenty of very good pubs/restaurants nearby also, we tried a couple and they were both excellent.First class property.

We had a fabulous stay. Communication from start to finish brilliant and Lesley met us to run through everything we needed to know. delicious welcome goodies including home made sponge - most appreciated. Wonderful, characterful and well equipped accommodation filled with extra touches to make our stay extra special. Fantastic areas for our dog to roam completely securely and great walks directly from the barn. We would definitely book again - thank you for a great stay.

Aladdin’s Cave

Rather belated thank you for a wonderful stay!! The barn was very spacious, beautifully furnished and had an eclectic mix of artefacts that fascinated us. The 3 of us really enjoyed our stay and the weather was gorgeous. Bella had a great time at Williams and we visited Oxford, Abingdon, Waddesdon Manor (well worth a visit) and Marlborough so we packed plenty in! Thanks also for gorgeous cake!!

I can't fault Lesley's place at all. Instructions to find the cottage were clear, even in the autumnal darkness, and Lesley was there to greet us with a roaring log fire, a delicious cake, and a walkthrough of the property. The space is full of interesting decor and I wish I'd stayed longer to enjoy all the different spaces. The beds were comfortable, and everything was very well appointed. We had an issue with the heating going off and Lesley was around in a jiffy, even on a Sunday evening! Problem fixed, and she checked in with us again the next day to make sure everything was fine. Honestly, this is a fantastic base for exploring this area of Oxfordshire and I look forward to staying here again!

What a lovely little cottage - perfect for us and our two little dogs. Lesley was there to welcome us and explain the ins and outs of The Long House - so much to take in, there are gorgeous touches wherever you look. The 5 days we were there were really not enough to take it all in. But, it was cosy, comfortable and a perfect place to celebrate just spending time together. We loved the woodburner, the quirkiness, the comfort and the quiet. Even on a particularly rainy day we hunkered down and enjoyed cooking a meal, playing games, CD's of the music that we grew up with, bathing 'a deux' in the copper tub and chatting over a bottle of wine in the glow of the fire. The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside space but I imagine warm summer evenings would be just as inviting in the courtyard or the garden. We'll certainly be bookmarking this for a return visit in the lighter months. All in all, a fantastic cottage, Lesley really has made this a little gem and her gorgeous homemade cake kept my cake-toothed husband happy.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Oxford ist nicht weit weg mit dem Auto. Im Haus ist alles so wunderschön eingerichtet mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Jeden Tag entdeckt man andere Kleinigkeiten. Bei Ankunft haben wir Eier, Milch, Brot und selbst gebackenen Kuchen bekommen. Das war einfach richtig lieb. Klare Empfehlung! 5 Sterne verdient. Auch unser Hund konnte im Garten spielen, da dieser komplett eingezäunt ist.

The biggest compliment I can pay is that it didn’t even feel like we were staying in a rented property, Lesley and Roger have made the long house feel like a home away from home with almost anything you would need if you were at your own home. A wonderful relaxing area and a brilliant outdoor space. I can’t fault it.
