The Space:

Quinta Refúgio Abreu features 5 bedrooms, of which 3 are suites, accommodating up to 10 guests in complete comfort. Each room has been carefully decorated. Spanning a total area of 584 m², the quinta impresses with generous spaces, high ceilings, abundant natural light, and sophisticated decor, complemented by a fireplace that provides cozy warmth on chilly days.



The property boasts two kitchens: the main one, equipped with high-quality furnishings, and a regional-style kitchen located outdoors, perfect for authentic culinary experiences. Additionally, there is an elegant games room with a spacious veranda.



Outside, an expansive green garden features a large pool, sun loungers, a terrace with outdoor sofas, and a complete barbecue kit for al fresco dining. There is also a tennis court and a gym for moments of physical activity.



Quinta Refúgio Abreu, located in Delães, Vila Nova de Famalicão, is a remarkable example of modern Portuguese architecture, designed by architect Mário Abreu in 1958. Recently renovated, the property has maintained its original character and harmony with its surroundings. This project received the Januário Godinho Award from the Municipality of Famalicão in recognition of its architectural heritage preservation.



In addition to being an enchanting retreat, the quinta is fully structured for events, offering versatile and well-equipped spaces for special occasions. It stands out for its seamless integration with the surrounding landscape, environmental sustainability, and the extension of the building’s lifespan, reflecting Mário Abreu’s innovative vision.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to all indoor and outdoor amenities. The concierge service is available 24 hours a day to organize excursions, private chef bookings, and other services. To ensure availability, please request any extras at least 72 hours in advance.



Important Note:

During your stay, regular garden and pool maintenance may take place. These interventions are important to ensure that all equipment remains clean, functional, and safe to use.

During the high season (May to October), the pool is regularly maintained to ensure an impeccable experience for guests. In the low season (November to April), the pool may be closed, subject to confirmation with our team.

Getting Around:

To reach Quinta Refúgio Abreu by public transport, take the train to Caminha station, which is located about 5 km from the property. From there, catch a taxi or local bus to Delães. If you are coming from Braga or Porto, there are train connections for this route.
