Set at the end of a private driveway you will be amazed by the picture perfect surroundings. Inside, this grand country house with high ceilings, beautiful ornate furnishings there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind.
The main sitting room enjoys comfortable sofas, a roaring fireplace and large windows that perfectly frame the breathtaking countryside views, making this the ideal place to cosy up with an evening tipple after a day exploring the delightful surroundings.
If you fancy some peace and quiet, you can escape to the snug and unwind in front of the television.
The well-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and a large kitchen island, you can enjoy breakfast or a lighter meal at the dining table overlooking the grounds. For those occasions where you need everyone together, the opulent dining room is the perfect space. Featuring a large table seating up to twenty-six guests, as well as a smaller sitting area surrounding a wood burning stove.
Lingen Hall boasts thirteen beautifully appointed bedrooms, each one has been tastefully furnished to offer a tranquil calm space. On the ground floor, bedroom thirteen offers a super-king size bed and an easy access en-suite shower room, suitable for those with limited mobility. Bedrooms one to twelve occupy the first and second floor. Guest can chose from eight king-size rooms, two super-kings, one double and two twin rooms. Some of the rooms offer giant bay windows and yet more stunning views, whilst others come with desks for catching up on a bit of work during your stay. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom, and some feature lovely free-standing baths so you can enjoy an indulgent soak in peace.
Outside the grounds are just as beautiful as the house with 12 acres of wonderful landscaped grounds, featuring woodlands, a rhododendron walk, terraced lawns, an orchard, and a babbling brook for you to explore. To the front of the house are various seating and dining areas for you and your guests to enjoy alfresco dining or a morning coffee out on your wonderful private patio.
Separate from the house is a large games room, with table football, a pool table, home workout equipment, a wide screen television and plenty of board games.
During the summer months you have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool, and pool house with changing rooms, a kitchenette and toilets. Set within the gardens this inviting pool is perfect on warmer days to take an indulgent dip and swim a few lengths or just simply relax with a good book on one of the sun loungers located on the white stone wrap around terrace.
For those days when you may want to venture further afield you are spoilt for choice. Lingen Hall is perfectly positioned to explore the stunning Shropshire Hills or a little further afield you will find the breathtaking Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park , which is just over the Welsh border, offering awe-inspiring views and endless outdoor adventures. For days out closer to home the charming market towns of Leominster Hay-on-Wye are just a short drive away as is historic Ludlow.
