Upon arrival we found the apt hot and musty smelling. We located the A/C units and turned them on. They were portable units and we had to open the windows so the exhaust hose would vent outside. We looked and found no instructions for the internet. Contacted the manager and she told us how to log on. Attempted to log on numerous times but the internet did not work. Again contacted the manager and she said something about contacting the company. Tried to lay down and take a nap but the street noise with the windows open was too loud to sleep. Decided to take a shower and found the bathroom having a slight sewer odor. Waited 10 minutes for warm water and finally got a trickle. Went to shut shower off but we couldn't get the water to stop running. That was our last straw. I notified the manager that we were not staying and the reason why. We packed up and left. I felt so concerned about the running water in the shower that I sent the manager another text an hour later expressing that concern. The manager later claimed that we had destroyed her apartment and she wasn't going to refund any part of our 5 day stay and was going to send us a bill for the water damage. We are working with VRBO on a refund at this time
