Haclin’s Cottage is a charming holiday let nestled in the tranquil Norfolk countryside, accommodating up to four guests. This lovely getaway is perfect for exploring the stunning North Norfolk coast, with popular beaches and attractions like Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, and Salthouse just a half-hour away. With ample parking on the driveway, Haclin’s Cottage offers a peaceful getaway for those eager to discover the beauty of North Norfolk!



The Space:

Haclin’s is a charming countryside cottage with a garden path leading to the front door, framed by potted plants and roses around the windows.



The stylish living room offers a cosy space with plenty of seating on a large sofa and armchairs.



The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking meals, and the wooden dining table, with garden views.



Upstairs, there are two well-decorated bedrooms: one king-size and one double, with the master bedroom featuring built-in wardrobes. There’s also a small nursery with a travel cot. Please note, the steep stairs may not be suitable for all guests.



The family bathroom is upstairs with a shower over the bath, and a second W/C is located on the ground floor off the utility room.



Outside, the enclosed garden offers a large patio, seating, and a BBQ.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



Please note that the fireplace in the lounge is not in use.



The stairs are very steep and not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Stibbard itself is home to the historic Stibbard All Saints Church, dating back to the early 14th century, as well as a charming redbrick Methodist chapel.



Just 15 minutes from the cottage, you'll find the small village of Walsingham, renowned for its religious significance. Walsingham is famed for its shrines dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the impressive ruins of two medieval monastic houses. It's a must-visit for those who appreciate religious history and medieval architecture.



The cottage serves as an ideal base for exploring North Norfolk's finest attractions. Wells-next-the-Sea, a charming coastal town, is just 10 miles away, offering sandy beaches and scenic views. Holt, a popular destination known for its independent shops and galleries, is just a 20-minute drive from Haclin's Cottage.

Steeped in history, Norwich is home to the iconic Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle, both offering a glimpse into the city’s rich past.

Getting Around:

Haclin's Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for peaceful walks. The village of Stibbard is small but picturesque, and you can enjoy leisurely strolls to nearby landmarks such as Stibbard All Saints Church or explore local footpaths for a more adventurous hike.



Haclin's Cottage is easily accessible by car. From Norwich, the drive takes approximately 40 minutes via the A1067. If you're coming from London, the journey is around 2.5 to 3 hours via the M11 and A11. Having a car offers the most flexibility to explore nearby attractions such as Wells-next-the-Sea, Holt, and Pensthorpe Natural Park. Parking is available at the property.



The nearest train station is in Norwich, which offers direct services to London Liverpool Street (around 1 hour 50 minutes) and other major cities. From Norwich, it's about a 40-minute drive or taxi ride to Haclin's Cottage.



Local bus services connect Fakenham with nearby villages and towns, making it possible to explore the area without a car. Buses run regularly between Norwich, Fakenham, and Wells-next-the-Sea.



The quiet country lanes around Stibbard make cycling a lovely way to explore the local countryside. You can cycle to nearby villages or explore scenic routes around Pensthorpe Natural Park and Wells-next-the-Sea. Bike rentals are available in nearby towns like Fakenham.

Other Things to Note:

There is a dishwasher at the property, however please note that it is temperamental and is in the process of being replaced.
