External Description



Villa Castello di Gubbio is located on a promontory in the Umbrian countryside, near Gubbio.

The Castle has a Medieval origin, and is immersed in an uncontaminated landscape, dotted with woods, meadows and waters. The property boasts a large fenced park of 3 hectares with private parking for 10 cars.

Inside the park you will find several areas dedicated to fun and relaxation such as: a bowling green, a five-a-side football pitch, a ping pong table, some trekking paths, and a beautiful pool (7 x 14 m, depth 1.40 m), open from May to October, and equipped with sunbeds, parasols, deckchairs, outdoor shower, and changing room (with toilet, solarium and showers).

On the bastion of the Castle there is a large dining table, perfect to spend alfresco meals while enjoying the wonderful view of the surrounding valley.

Moreover at guests' disposal the equipment for playing five-a-side football, and some mountain bikes to be used inside the park, and a wood-fired barbecue, for having grills with friends.

Villa Castello di Gubbio is the perfect spot to host important events, like business meetings or weddings (there is also a small consecrated chapel within the garden).



Internal Description



Villa Castello di Gubbio is made up of the Castle and the Guesthouse, which are connected by a passageway starting from the ground floor of the Castle until the first floor of the Guesthouse. The whole property can normally accommodate 30 people, has 15 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. On request it is possible to increase the total capacity of the villa up to a maximum of 35 people (for additional guests - from the 31th to the 35th guest - there is an extra cost to pay). Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. The bedrooms located in the attic have air conditioning. On request 4 baby beds and 4 high chairs are available free of charge. Small and medium-sized pets are allowed on request.



Castle: The ground floor of the Castle is made up of several rooms: a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the outdoor dining area; a large dining/breakfast room; a lounge with sofa, armchairs and fireplace. Both the dining room and the lounge are directly connected to the kitchen and the internal courtyard.

Going up to the first floor you will find: another lounge, a small sitting room with tv, and a panoramic terrace.

On the second floor there are 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, including 3 doubles (two with shower and one with mini-pool) and 2 twins (both with shower, in one bedroom the beds can be joined to form a double bed).

The third and fourth floors of the Castle host respectively: a suite with King-size double bed, bathroom with hot tub and underfloor heating; a suite under the roof with double bed, underfloor heating and bathroom with shower.



Guesthouse: On the ground floor of the Guesthouse you are welcomed by a spacious lounge area with billiard table, table football, and piano.

Following on the first floor you will find 5 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. In detail 2 double bedrooms share a bathroom with hot tub while the remaining 4 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom (three with shower and one with hot tub).

Lastly in the attic, on the second floor, there are 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Final cleaning; utilities (water, gas, electricity except heating); concierge service; breakfast service (from 7.30 to 10.30 a.m. - cost for food and drinks to be paid extra); daily cleaning service (from Monday to Saturday, with cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas; cleaning of the kitchen is included only with lunch and dinner services); change of sheets, towels and pool towels (on Saturday and midweek); welcome aperitif upon arrival; Internet Wifi; use of the washing machine and dryer; use of the bowling green, ping pong table, mountain bikes.



Excluded from the price: Heating (350.00€ per day if used); shopping service (30.00€ per day, even for more days); extra cleaning service (20.00€/hour); babysitting service (20.00€/hour); ironing service (20.00€/hour); wine tasting on request (150.00€ + cost of wines); light lunch service with chef and waiter (25.00€ per person); dinner service with chef and waiter (45.00€ per person). If the customer uses light lunch and dinner services, he/she will be required to pay a deposit of 1,000.00€ upon arrival for the purchase of food and drinks, with payment in cash or by credit card (+10% by credit card). The deposit will have to be integrated every 3 days on the basis of the purchase receipts provided to the customer with balance or refund at the end of the stay. Tourist tax (2.00€ per person per night for the first 4 nights excluding children under 12, and will be paid upon arrival).



Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
