Dowager Cottage consists of a lower-ground-floor kitchen with a breakfast bar seating four, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster, a lower-ground-floor sitting room with a Smart TV, and a lower-ground-floor conservatory with dining seating for four. The bedrooms are on the ground floor with en-suite shower rooms, consisting of a twin and a double. There is also a snug on the mezzanine floor. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with a patio, furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop in 0.4 miles, and a pub in 0.5 miles. Treat you and your loved ones to a stay at Dowgar Cottage. Note: There are a few steps up to access the garden. Note: The stairway is an open-tread spiral, so extra care is advised with pets and young children.

Further along the Penryn River, just one mile towards the sea you’ll find the famous seaport of Falmouth, with a host of things to keep you entertained including harbour-side pubs and eateries offering spectacular views, stunning Blue Flag beaches and a bustling town centre. Visit the National Maritime Museum for a taste of Cornwall’s sea-faring history, or the fine Tudor fortress of Pendennis Castle, superb set gazing out to sea. You don’t have to venture far from Penryn to discover Cornwall’s many sights, delights and stunning coastline, and this is the perfect character base from which to see it all.
