Das Hammondsport Lake Front Home liegt 1,6 km von Hammondsport entfernt an der Westseite der Keuka Lakes. Das Anwesen befindet sich am Rande des Wassers. Perfekt für eine oder zwei Familien. Entspannen Sie sich, während Sie Ihren Kindern beim Schwimmen in einer freundlichen Umgebung am See zusehen. Genießen Sie das Angeln in Ihrem eigenen privaten Dock, während Sie vom frühen Morgen bis zum späten Nachmittag die Sonne genießen.

Die bezaubernde Region Finger Lakes im Westen von New York, die weltweit für ihre Produktion preisgekrönter Weine bekannt ist, bietet eines der schönsten und friedlichsten Reiseziele der USA. Dies ist ein idealer Ort für Weinverkoster, wir sind innerhalb von zwei Meilen von vielen Weingütern.

Die untere Ebene des Hauses verfügt über einen Aufenthaltsraum, ein Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. und ein Schläfer für zusätzliche Unterkünfte. Die obere Etage verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Badezimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer, einen großen Wohnbereich mit Doppelbett und ein Wohnzimmer für zusätzliche Schlafgelegenheiten.

Vor unserem Haus befindet sich eine große Rasenfläche zum "Sonnenbaden" und ein Steg, an dem bis zu einem 24-Fuß-Boot Platz findet.

* Wöchentliche Anmietungen sind von Freitag bis Freitag, Check-in um 15:00 Uhr, Check-out um 10:00 Uhr. Nicht weniger als drei Übernachtungen vor Juni oder nach dem Labor Day. Our recent stay at the cottage was perfect. From the moment we arrived Delia and Ed were welcoming and helpful in every way. The home was spotless, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Beautiful Lakeside Stay

The hosts are wonderful people, helpful and friendly. The lakeside location is wonderful and great for jumping right in, lakeside lounging, and with a dock that was great for the boat we rented for part of our stay and fishing right off the dock. 5 minute drive to get into Hammondsport, and close to tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, golf, etc. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequately equipped, great BBQ grill outside, plenty of seating and a nice canopy area for shade. We had a great time staying here and didn't want to leave!

Summer fun in the Finger Lakes

With the convenience of walking right out of the house to the water, a spectacular view, necessary amenities, great hosts, proximity to nearby town and such, it was everything we wanted and needed. Adorable tiny bungalow

Lovely Retreat

Owners met us on arrival and helped us to get settled and showed us all.. It was perfect for us, each person had their own space. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock, and lots of time to enjoy the views am and pm. Steps down to property are steep for older(75). Close to Hammondsport.

Quiet and accessible retreat

Property was clean and very comfortable! Fabulous lake views from every window! Plenty of seating both inside and outside and great awning spot to dodge the sun for us fairer types. Delia and Ed were very helpful getting me moved in due as there are steps down from the road. Great little place to stay and very close to Hammondsport which was a favorite walking trip each morning there and back.

Very accommodating hosts

From the moment we arrived the hosts were making sure our stay was enjoyable. Ed had the elevator waiting to transport our gear. The house was very clean. The lakeside deck had a shaded area that we enjoyed watching the boating activity from. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for.

Keuka Lake

We had the best time on our vacation wine tasting trip to the finger lakes. I have been a couple of times now and think Keuka is my favorite. The house was perfect for us, every morning a beautiful sunrise and in the evening sitting out by the water was a perfect end to the day. Our hosts were incredible! I wound up picking up a nail in rental car and got a flat tire, instead of wasting a half a day dealing with issue they totally came to the rescue and helped get it fixed. They are the best. I hope we can make it back again. ❤️

Relaxing lakefront

Just got back from a four night stay at this lakefront home with another couple. We really couldn’t ask for a better stay. The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and not feel cramped. There was plenty of space on the deck as well which was right on the water. Also the location was great to visit all the wineries which were really amazing. The hosts were great they were there when we arrived and when we left. They were helpful and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Great place/Great hosts

The location of the house is perfect… short trip to downtown Hammondsport and all restaurants and local wineries. Our lodgings were squeaky clean, the house was adequately stocked and the new beds extremely comfortable to sleep in. Spent every morning sipping coffee on the deck while watching the morning fisherman in the mist on the lake. So serene and relaxing! Afternoons splashing in the lake with family, who even picked us up and dropped us off by boat, thanks to the new dock. Delia and Ed are perfect hosts; always available, yet allowed us our privacy as vacationers. This is definitely our new landing for now on when visiting lovely Hammondsport!

It's All in the View

This vacation was delightful from first to last. Delia and Ed were kind, helpful, and always available if needed. The house was comfortable and very clean. But, it was the view of the lake that drew me to this place and it never disappointed. Keuka Lake is lovely even during a thunderstorm. The single downside is the staircase from the street to the house,, which is steep and long. But it was worth every step to stay in such a perfect setting.

Beautiful property, right on the lake, all the comforts of home.

We chose this property as a last minute Memorial Day weekend getaway. The host promptly responded to our request for booking with a personal call and gave us all the details. We arrived a bit late in the evening, but host was there to meet us, help us with luggage (there is a nice elevator to get things up and down from the property) and show us around. Property is very nicely appointed, clean, and warm, felt like coming home. Property is literally "on the water" meaning you walk out the back door onto a patio, and then a dock over the water. Very convenient for swimming (a bit cold in May) right off the dock and using the kayak's that are provided. Would highly recommend this for one or even two families as there is plenty of space (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) with lots of water activity on-site and plenty to do offsite (vineyards, museums, shopping).

Great Lake Location

We were 3 couples and we all had a lovely time staying at this property. Ed & Delia were super nice and helped us get our boat in the water and get our stuff taken inside the house. The lakeside property is so nice. We especially liked the big outside deck with a dock for a small to medium size boat. We brought our 17' bayliner and it fit well. When we were there we saw a magnificent full (almost double) rainbow that was directly across the lake from us. It was just stunning! We also caught a lot of fish off the deck and dock, perch, small mouth bass, blue gill, catfish & sunnies, etc. If you like to fish make sure to bring a rod and some worms. The only downside that we saw to the this property is that the steps are very steep from street to house. There is an electric lift so you don't have to carry your suitcase, etc. down or up the steps. All in all we would highly recommend staying here as Ed and Delia are very hospitable and you can't beat the view! Thanks for a great time!

Nice Property But Boaters Take Note

Pros 1. Keuka is very scenic and peaceful. For boaters there is minimal boat traffic and at least on this end of the lake the water is really calm most of the time. It was phenomenal for waterskiing and wakeboarding, etc. 2. The property is conveniently located like a mile away from Hammondsport which is a very nice quaint town. Nice shops, restaurants and a decent grocery store. 3. It is right on the water, really cool. 4. Plenty of space for 8 people. 5. Very clean and for the most part comfortable. 6. The deck is great for hanging out, fishing or swimming; as long as you don't have a boat. 7. The property owners are very nice. They used to allow dogs but no longer do (VRBO made that confusing for me) Because of that, they generously agreed to allow my sister's dog for an additional $75 cleaning fee. We were extemely appreciative. Cons (mainly for boaters) 1. Most of the beds are uncomfortable. I would describe them as hard/stiff. The purchase of some decent mattress toppers would go a long way to provide comfort for most sleepers. 2. Based on several photos posted on VRBO (which have been removed due to my complaint) and written correspondence I had with Delia, we were lead to believe the dock could accomodate our 23' boat. When I asked the depth of the water where "we would dock our boat" I was told 20'. Much to our surprise when I pulled up with our expensive boat, I was told the dock (which is located at the edge of the rental property, next to their private home) was off limits. It's their private brand new dock. They no longer allow renters to dock, fish nor swim off it. Our dock was the deck. We had to dock our boat, horizontal to the lake. Since our boat pretty much stretched the length of the deck, we could not fish nor swim off of it. This situation was not desireable for what we were looking for in a lake property. Overall, I would say this is a decent place to stay. We will definitely come back to Keuka Lake. The daily rental fee is very reasonable for a lake property given what we have paid over many years. As you can see there are very nice reviews of this place. However, if you have a boat this place may not meet your needs. All depends on what you are expecting to do off the deck.

We will take a survey of our previous guest and enhance our mattress conditions for our up coming session if needed.... We have used this new docking system all summer with no complains however, we are in contact with a local dock builder for the possibility of building a 8 by 40 pier for our guest to dock. After numerous text messages (over 30) and phone calls with this guess she booked her stay without informing VRBO/us about a pet. This guest came to the realization that we the owners live next door to the rental and this is when she informed us of the pet. We worked with her allowed the pet of a $75 pet fee. This guest was difficult to please to say the least however, we will not continue to take up your time with the negative aspects, except to say they cost us money during their stay. We have been in this business for 18 plus years We welcome pros and cons to improve your stay. We strive to make Keuka Lake a positive family experience and will continue to do so...please refer to our 5 Star Review for the last 18 years for your guidance.

Great indoor / outdoor space on Keuka Lake

We simply cannot say enough about our time at Fun in the Sun. We were met when we arrived and helped with our luggage, enjoyed just the right mix of privacy and accommodation from Ed & Delia, loved the dock for swimming and docking a rental boat, grilled and ate outside with family, and had comfortable inside space when we needed to get out of the sun. Plenty of room for our two teenage sons and we loved taking advantage of the kayaks. Bonus points for the elevator lift to help with the luggage and the sweet treats during the week from our awesome hosts.

Fantastic Week on Keuka Lake!!

What a wonderful week we all had! The property was spotless (which is always important but even more so during Covid!) and had everything we needed! Delia & Ed were the most gracious, kind and generous owners who thought of everything and were there to help make our week relaxing and memorable!! The location enabled us to walk to the quaint town of Hammondsport each morning (and evening) if we were craving homemade ice cream, coffee or lunch/dinner. Walking in the opposite direction we discovered a wonderful vegetable stand where it was based on the honor system - how truly awesome is that!! We were close to wineries/breweries and museums. We enjoyed the use of the 5 kayaks that were available to us and had a spot on the dock to tie up our 4 person floatie! Mother nature gifted us with weather that was spectacular and Keuka Lake is crystal clear - and so beautiful!! We had friends visits on several days and we were all grateful for this home and time on the lake!! Thank you so very, very much!!

Fun in the Sun! Perfect vacation!

Our first visit to the Finger Lakes was absolute perfection. This property is close to town and wineries if you want to explore the area. The house is beautiful- spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed inside and out. Awesome outdoor space right on the water. We loved the property owners, Ed and Delia, who made sure everything was perfect!

Great sunsets.great cottage ,great location!!!

very clean,nicely decorated,wonderful time.very nice owners.Fishing off the dock didn't produce very many fish but we all enjoyed our stay .Thank you!!

Fun in the sun

A wonderful week on our favorite lake. The house location is perfect-just a mile from quaint Hammondsport and several wineries. Outdoor dock space is ideal for enjoying the view and family dinners. 2 large tables, amazing dock and sun (rain shade!) over one dock. Had a boat on the other dock most of the week and that worked out well. Note that the owners live next door and they are very close. The stairs are shared. Some may find this awkward so be aware before you rent. The house is comfortable and kitchen area is large.

Thank you for staying with us.....sorry we had to charge u for the damage dresser...but you u did set a hot curling iron on the dresser top....needed to make it right for our next guest..

Relax at Keuka Lake

We had a great time in this beautiful house. The location is perfect, right on the water. You can walk right out to the water with your cup of coffee and enjoy the peace. But it also is located just a couple of miles from the quaint town of Hammondsport. You couldn't ask for better owners of the property who are so friendly and there for every need. We will surely be back again and again.
