Set on the shores of Lake Windermere, England’s largest natural lake, both towns provide an ideal base for exploring the stunning landscapes and attractions that make the area so special.
There are plenty of trails around Windermere and Bowness has many water based activities.
Both towns offer a wide range of cafes, restaurants, and shops, whether you’re looking for a relaxed coffee, a traditional pub lunch, or a fine dining experience.
