I have lived in Brevard since 1987. Recently, I married a true Brevard native, born and raised here and we are extremely vested in our community and in making sure our guests have an incredible experience from the moment you inquire about booking throughout your stay and even after first renting Arrowhead Point of View. Many of our guests return every year and sometimes even multiple times each year. Brevard and the greater Transylvania county in which it is part of, is our full time home and always will be. Unlike many other vacation rental properties owned by part-timers, investors or realty companies...we are here to make sure your stay at APOV is the best or even better than you can imagine it could be. Décor, cleanliness, attention to detail, landscaping, our availability if needed, guided tours, suggestions for great hikes, shopping, dining....we have the valuable insight as long time locals. We are outdoor enthusiasts, love our local music scene, are experienced with farming, canning, hunting and fishing and of course hiking and have knowledge of some of the most glorious waterfalls that are private or still known to only some who live here. Brevard will always be my FOREVER home. I cannot think of anywhere I'd rather be. I have traveled to many places and EVERY time I return home and catch the first glimpses of the Blue Ridge Mountain in the distance, a profound sense of peace comes over me...there's no place like home!!!
Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, music, the arts, antiquing, taking scenic drives, or just relaxing...Brevard is the perfect friendly small town with so much to offer. I often say that Brevard is a Big little town. For a small town, there is so much to see and do, the restaurants are incredible, the music is amazing, and of course, the waterfalls are never disappointing!
When I had the opportunity to purchase the house next to Simply Gorges, my first vacation rental. I had to make it happen. These two houses have, by far, the two most spectacular views of the mountains and Lake Jocassee that exists. Whether it's waking up every morning to the endless mountain views, dining with the backdrop of mountains, enjoying a glass of wine on the covered deck as the sun sets experiencing the array of incredible colors change as the sun dips behind the mountains....I am in awe of the beauty God has created and I have been so blessed to witness this at every moment every day. It is truly a gift to be able to share Arrowhead Point of View with you all!
APOV is located in a private neighborhood called Round Mountain that boasts many hiking trails, private waterfalls, a variety of wildlife and rare flora such as the Oconee Bell. Additional family, friends or colleagues can find accommodations with walking distance to APOV, making it the perfect setting for larger groups as well. I guarantee, they would all want to spend most of their time at APOV with you! We just terraced the back yard, re-designed the fire pit area and built a 12x16 Cabana Stage. We would love to help you plan the perfect gathering, retreat, small private event or romantic getaway.

UNIQUE!... APOV has a NEW 12x16 Cabana Stage with the backdrop of Lake Jocassee and protected mountains/forests. This is the perfect setting for small intimate gathering, retreats or events. The property also has a hookup that can accommodate two RVs, or event trailers, has an incredible new fire pit area and terraced backyard to enjoy.
FRIENDLY! We live in Brevard, native to this area and have the love and knowledge of its history, the forests and the local community. We are vested in our home and town and feel blessed to be able to share it with you!
