Great Location. Rooms OK so far. The bedroom on the groundfloor faces toward the kitchen of a halal restaurant, however, the smells of which come through the window (which does not close properly) and the ventilation of the Restaurant was quite loud as well. Windows of most rooms cannot be opened properly. Bathroom is really tiny given that the max. number of guests is up to 10. Doorknob of kitchen was missing. Host was really friendly, though and offered to fix it right away. Communication with host was very friendly.

The flat is ok for cooler weather. NOT in a summer heatwave.

Our flight arrived early in the day and we had prearranged for an early check in with the host. He asked us to text him when we were on our way to the apartment (between 11 and 12 am). We did several times but received no response repeatedly, so we arrived and stood outside the apartment with all of our luggage for nearly 30 minutes while we tried to contact him by phone for instructions to access the apartment. The flat had 4 bedrooms and 1 bath as mentioned. But accessing the apartment is by physical key and a sliding barn type door. If part of your group leaves and locks that door, there is no way to unlock it from the inside so you can be locked inside the apartment (which doesn’t seem safe at all if there was a fire or other emergency). We were in London in the middle of a heat wave and there is no air conditioning in this house. Three of the bedrooms are on the 3rd story of the house and are HOT. One of them has a window that has been painted shut with no way to open it. (This seems dangerous for fire access reasons but also created a sauna with no airflow for temperature relief). We roasted all night. I know extreme heat is not the norm for London, but if you stay here in the summer, beware. It was absolutely miserable temperature-wise.

To future guests reading this, we’d like to highlight that this spacious 4-bedroom home is located in the heart of London, within easy walking distance to key landmarks such as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, as well as nearby restaurants, shops, and Underground stations. We’re sorry for the initial delay at check-in. An early check-in was arranged, and while there was a short lapse in communication that day, we understand the inconvenience this caused and have since strengthened our check-in procedures to avoid such issues in the future. Regarding the front entrance: the sliding door is fully functional and can be securely locked from both the inside and the outside. This means guests can safely lock the door while inside the property for security and also lock it when leaving the property. We provide instructions on how to use the lock correctly and are always available to assist if there are any difficulties. In response to the comment about the bedroom window, it was not painted shut. It simply required proper unlocking, after which it opened and functioned normally. That said, we recognise the recent heatwave was uncomfortable. While most London homes are not fitted with air conditioning due to the typically mild climate, we have now added additional fans to the property to help improve airflow during warmer months. We’re committed to providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable stay and are always looking to improve based on guest feedb

Located all within a 10 minute walk...Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Underground, a few restaurants and grocery stores. If you are looking for a place with a decent location and easy access, this place is for you. The accommodations...mediocre at best. We were in London during a heat wave and when we arrived at the VRBO we could not open one of the bedroom windows...it was painted shut. Although the issue was resolved, the request should have never had to have been made to begin with. The shower did not drain well and clogged very easily. My husband initially had to unclog the shower or water would have flowed out onto the floor. Again, another request had to be made so the issue could be resolved. Out of our six night stay, the internet was down three of the days. This posed a problem as one of our family members needed to work while away. And although the problem was communicated numerous times daily, it was never resolved. The uncomfortable beds, left you feeling a bit sore and lacking a good night's sleep. Communication was fair. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to communicate with me after booking. During our stay, they were quick to respond, but slow to act. The access information into the VRBO was not freely given and had to be requested the night before, leaving us wondering if we had been scammed. If you are looking for comfort, this is not your place. If you are looking for location, this could be the place for you.

Once we provided guidance, it opened and functioned as normal. The shower drainage issue raised was addressed and resolved during the guest’s stay, and we ensured it was fully functional going forward. In addition, we’ve now installed fast and reliable high-speed internet, offering guests a stable connection, including those who may need to work remotely during their visit. Please note that our check-in information is always sent on the day of arrival, with access available from 3:00 pm onward. If an earlier check-in is requested and approved, the access details are shared at the specific agreed time. This policy ensures security and a smooth handover between guest stays. We take all guest feedback seriously and are committed to continuously improving. We are proud to have hosted many satisfied guests and will always do our best to provide a comfortable, responsive, and enjoyable stay for every visitor.
