Updates umfassen neue benutzerdefinierte Küche mit Beton Theken und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl, neues Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche und rund um allgemeine Updates. Gemütliches Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern befindet sich direkt am Kokosing-Fluss, von den Algonkin-Indianern übersetzt und bedeutet "Fluss der kleinen Eulen". Die Kabine ist eine kurze Entfernung zum Kenyon College, Apple Valley See, Ohio Amish Land und Tonnen und Tonnen großer Parks, Wanderwege, Radwege und Jagd. Große Fischerei vor den Banken im Hinterhof. Zahlreiche verschiedene Tierarten, darunter Adler, Falken, Nerze und Hirsche. Kajaks und Kanus stehen zur Verfügung. Nice stay along the river

Was clean and had everything you would need. Nice fire pit and hot tub, with a short walk to the water in the back yard. Was easy to get to, and a short drive to restaurants and stores. Everything is exactly as advertised.We were especially surprised at the complementary pumpkin bread and wine left for us to start the weekend. That was definitely a first for us of all places we've stayed throughout Ohio.

Relaxation by the River

The cabin is very cozy and inviting. It's in a beautiful location along the river and felt secluded, even though access to stores and restaurants was not far away. It felt like a nature retreat. I wish I could have enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and view more. Unfortunately, it rained the entire weekend. My arrival was very warm and welcoming. Low lights were on, instrumental music was playing, and the owners were kind enough to have some lovely complimentary items waiting for me. Communication was responsive and thorough. Everything is well stocked and easy to locate thanks to very thoughtful labeling and instructions throughout the cabin. It is very apparent that the hosts wanted their visitors to feel at home. I certainly did. I really loved my stay and found it very relaxing. I would be happy to return in the future and hopefully be able to enjoy everything it has to offer.

Short, serene getaway

Had a pretty amazing week here with the wife, kid, and dogs. Sunsets on the back porch from the hot tub were incredible. Fully enclosed back porch was very helpful with the dogs. Overall the place was very baby and dog friendly.

Very relaxing

The property was as advertised. It was on a lazy river which was a wonderful backdrop for our hot tub sessions. The cabin was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in warmer weather in order to take advantage of the kayaks.

Great weekend retreat

A fun, simply laid out, fairly private, well kept, up to date place that would be easy to spend alot of time at. The closed in porch and backyard made it easy to keep tabs on our dog. The hot tub was wonderful, the big firepit on the porch got plenty of use and the nice section of river behind the property I can see being tons of fun when its warmer. Excited to come back sometime

Amazing weekend getaway!

We had an amazing stay, even though it raines for majority of our trio we made the best of it. We fished in the river and hubby caught 2 catfish. We went and visited the Amish country and local eataries very cool places

We came to Ohio at the request of our son who chose that as his vacation spot. We really enjoyed the beauty of the state. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and was exceptionally neat and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the kayaks. We found many things to do in the area and the weather was perfect. Beautiful, clean, cozy cabin

Upon arrival everything was clean and well taken care of. Hosts respond quickly to our call. Very nice complimentary wine and pumpkin bread! Peaceful and relaxing hotub, overall very nice place to stay. We plan to go back!

perfect spot!

we had such a great time kayaking, hot tubbing and biking on the nearby kokosing gap trail. the cabin was exactly as described, well-stocked and comfy! communication with the property owner was quick and seamless. we would recommend this place to anyone with a small group and we hope to stay again ourselves someday!

Great Property, near road

The property is really nice, great porch. The house is very close to route 36 so it can be quite loud on the porch with semis and farm equipment passing by. Political candidate signs stuck up at the entrance is also not a very welcoming start or a good look for a rental property. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable.

We were married in 1995 and are from the local area. We currently reside in Apple Valley so this cabin is just a short drive enabling us to make sure that your stay goes without a hitch. While we own several rentals in the area this is our first vacation rental. We often use VRBO when we travel, which we do often. I have been a full time REALTOR with RE/MAX and have been licensed since 1987. Sue manages the books and any other areas that need attention with our many ventures.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

This property came up at the local foreclosure sale and I fell in love with it!, My wife not so much. This was a very big project and there is not 1 square inch of this place that we didn't touch. It was a lot of fun seeing my wife warm up to it. My wife is known to have very particular requirements in any place we stay. Our friends have all told us that once I can get my wife to stay here it is ready for the public; my wife now loves to stay here. Its just a short trip from our home but feels like vacation.

River, river and river. This cabin is great: really comfortable inside and nice enough for a girls escape, family fun, romanic coupe time, or mens fishing/hunting trip. A super clean river like the Kokosing running through the back yard just makes it! Super large deck, outdoor shower, great access to so much, all adds to the value. The river and newly added hot tub just have a way to ease all of the tensions of the "daily grind".
