Thank you for your comments on the RCC which were largely complimentary. Re the "seen better days settee". It is actually an expensive antique, older than America and is correctly known as a settle. Admittedly not for the larger person but there is a comfortable armchair also which you could have used? Re ewes. When you arrived I introduced you to "Susie", the ewe and her two lambs in the pen. I also explained to you that she was the Houdini of all ewes escaping out everywhere and was kept in the pens for her own safety where she was well watered and well fed. As you are from the city of Chicago, a city not given to sheep husbandry, my explanations obviously fell on deaf ears . I received your calls but as I visited Susie several times a day when you were out I saw little point in responding. Re arrival times. All holiday lets have an expected time for guests arriving and I am no exception. Where I differ from most is that I meet guests personally, introduce them to the cabin and give them suggestions of places on Skye non - touristy and more interesting than the usual. I live a considerable distance from the RCC and cannot hang around indefinitely .
