I bet your pup loved the enclosed garden to burn off some of that energy![Emoji Removed] The old railway line is a great accessible walk and a particular favourite with many of our guests so having it so close to Lydia's cottage is a massive plus. Thank you for highlighting your issues with the sofa, we really value this feedback and will certainly look into it and discuss it with the owner to see what improvements can be made. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed exploring Keswick too. It's often regarded as one of the most dog-friendly towns in the UK, so it's always lovely when our four-legged visitors feel just as welcome as their owners! Lydia's River Cottage is a lovely property, with lots of advantageous features: open-plan downstairs, fully central-heated with a remote-controlled living-flame gas stove, a large, elevated riverside patio directly above the river Greta, which is private and has spectacular river views, a double bedroom to the rear of the property, overlooking the river, and a twin room to the front with views towards Walla Crag, a large shower with choice of monsoon or normal showering, and private, off road parking, large enough for two cars. Hi, John! Lydia's River Cottage is a lovely property, away from the business of town, but close to everything to you need. The cottage is open-plan downstairs, fully central-heated with a remote-controlled living-flame gas stove to provide a cosy focal point on cold days (and we do have lots of them!). Parking for the cottage is private, off road and large enough for two cars. WiFi is complimentary and unlimited. What more could you ask for? We hope to see you again soon! Hi Jo, Thank you for your review. Lydia's location, next to the river is perfect for watching the wildlife from the patio when the weather allows. There is a pub across road serving food which is handy for those nights when you just don't fancy cooking.
