At the heart of Trullo Uccello is an expansive 11.5m x 3.5m pool, where guests can swim and relax while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The patio area is further enhanced by an outdoor kitchen, perfect for al fresco dining under the starlit sky.

When you arrive at Trullo Uccello you will be welcomed by one of our team to ensure your holiday gets off to great start.

The property is comprised of two parts, both trulli: the day area with kitchen and living room and the night area with 3 bedrooms, (the buildings are just 4 metres apart from each other).

Trullo - NIGHT AREA

Entering from the outside into the FAMILY SUITE area

A short hallway leads to an archway on the left:

FAMILY SUITE -TRULLO TWIN BEDROOM

This area has twin beds (90cm wide) (which can be made as a double on request), air-con, two hanging bedside lights for reading, shelving and baskets for storage and a hanging rail for your clothes. The window looks directly out onto the pool area.

From the right on the hallway is the entrance to:

FAMILY SUITE - BATHROOM

A big bathroom which has a bath, walk-in shower, wash hand basin with mirror above and WC. The decorative feature fireplace leaves you plenty of space for your toiletries and well as the baskets too. There are two windows, one looking out onto the pool and the other to the patio at the rear.

Straight ahead in the hallway leads you to double doors into:

FAMILY SUITE - MASTER BEDROOM

With king size bed (180cm wide), air-con, wall mounted reading lights, mirror, wall hanging and hangers for your clothes and baskets for storage. There is a door to the outside where you will find a small patio area with seating, perfect for reading a book. A window looks out onto the rear of the property

With large double bed (175cm wide), air-con, wall hanging lights, reading lamp, mirror, hanging space and hangers for your clothes, table with baskets for storage of your clothes. The window looks out onto the rear of the property.

With walk-in shower, wash hand basin with mirror above, WC and baskets for storage of your toiletries. The window looks out onto the pool

KITCHEN

The kitchen is equipped with sink, dishwasher, microwave, full size oven, 4 ring hob, kettle, with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans for cooking delicious food. There is a long dining table and chairs in front of the huge French doors which open out onto the patio, pool area and outdoor kitchen.

One step up from the kitchen through the stone arch leads to:

LIVING ROOM

Situated under an enormous trullo cone with cool stone walls, original wooden beams and log fire, this cosy area has a Smart TV housed in a cupboard, books for reading, a few games and a long sofa seating up to 4 people. The door leads outside to entrance area of the property

Entered from the outside, near the door to the living room:

UTILITY ROOM

This room houses the washing machine, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board and is a general storage area. Great if you have hired bicycles and want to store them away.

The property benefits from wifi both inside and outside the property.

OUTSIDE

POOL
The beautiful swimming pool which has two parts:

Main pool 11.5 m long x 3.5 m wide. The depth is the same throughout and measures 1.4m

The shallow beach part which is attached and drops down into the main pool measures 5m long x 1.3m wide and has a depth of 0.30m

The pool is entered via a ladder at the far end.

Alongside the pool we have 6 sun loungers for you to relax on and a large wooden sofa nearby. There are also 2 umbrellas for shade.

PATIO AREA

Outside of the trullo day area there is an OUTDOOR KITCHEN

This has an L shaped worksurface with built-in charcoal BBQ area, sink, gas burners for cooking, electrical points and a fridge underneath. Shelving provides space for the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans for you to cook delicious food outdoors.

AL FRESCO DINING

Outside of the kitchen is a long table with 2 wooden benches either side. Nearby to the outdoor kitchen is a long stone bench with cushions and table in front just perfect for snacks and enjoying a glass of wine.

PARKING

There is private parking off road parking for 3 cars.

OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION

The property has approx. 5000 sqm of land with plenty of olive trees. Guests are also welcome to pick the fruit from the trees. Nearby to the property there are lots of plants of shrubs and places for children to explore.

BABIES

We also provide free of charge for 1 baby, a travel cot and highchair. Please note that we do not provide linen for the travel cot as often babies have sensitive skins, this you need to bring.

LOCAL INFO

At the property you will find a house book full of lots of information on what to do and where to go. Also, on arrival we will only too pleased to give you more information according to your interests.

There is a local shop in the countryside just a 3 minute drive away which is open 7 days a week from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm which has a good range of products if you do not want to drive into town. They also make excellent lunch time rolls on request.

The very popular Almond Cafe is less than 5 minutes drive away and serves a typical Italian breakfast of coffee and cornetti but also omelettes, pancakes and all the sweet treats you can imagine. It's open from morning to night and has a lovely garden to sit in.

The beautiful town of Cisternino is only 5 minutes drive away and is full of baroque architecture, a weekly market, delightful historic centre, shops and restaurants to suit all budgets

Ceglie Messapica is also 10 minutes drive away and is known as a gastonomic centre, where you can find an abundance of restaurants from pizzerias to gourmet meals.

Alberobello with its town of many trullis, Castellana Grotte and the interesting cave tours, Locorotondo with wineries to visit and no trip would be complete without a visit to Lecce (known locally as the Florence of the South).

Torre Canne is the nearest beach that is great for children, but there are many beautiful beaches and areas of more rugged coastline both on the Adriatic and Ionian coast in easy driving distance.

If you love beach clubs and to be pampered we recommend Lido Bizzaro or high end at Lido Bambu for a real treat!
