Jeder ist sprachlos, wenn er vom Deck in den Hinterhof schaut. Wunderschönes Creek Side Home mit Kamin, wunderschönen australischen Zypressenholzböden und fließendem Bach direkt unter dem Haupt- und Hauptdeck. Makellos. König, Königin, Voll und 2 x Zwillinge. Das Hotel liegt auf 4 Hektar. Sehr privat. Tolles Forellenloch, Tauchbecken im Bach. Nur eine Meile von der alten Messerfabrik entfernt. Minuten zu allem. Einer der schönsten Orte in der Franklin-Gegend mit einem Bach vor Ort und einem tollen kleinen Strand in der Bucht im seichten Wasser, an dem Kinder vor den Knöcheln spielen oder nach Edelsteinen suchen können. Perfect Mountain Family Getaway

Our favorite weeks of the year are spent in this home. Watching the kids play in the river and relaxing on the back deck are how we spend our hours here. Location is perfectly situated for easy access to outings, hiking and restaurants.

The house provides two sources of internet DSL and high speed through viasat. Remote work using zoom, Microsoft teams, salesforce.com, ring central has all been tested to work. Communication with the owner can provide internet access instructions to meet your needs. The internet fees included in your reservation allow access to both. It is rural NC so we are happy to have found a great solution for our guests.

What a Fun Time!

I loved this home. It was spacious and clean with gorgeous views! The babbling creek is pretty to look at as well as nice to hear. We had bonfires creekside every night. This home is a great place to stay.

Thank you for communicating before and after your stay. I know the temp dropped down to 27 degrees outside and so keeping you warm was a priority. Sometimes Florida guests do not understand the need to flip between heat modes furnace to electric to be toasty warm and if they do not communicate then it is a problem. I am so glad you were comfortable and enjoyed the home. I wish all guests were so easy to communicate with so I can give instruction, answer questions and assure a comfortable stay. 5 Star Guest. Holiday Gateaway

The house was wonderful, featuring a spacious kitchen and a large master best complete with a dream closet. The living room was equally impressive, with high ceilings and big windows. Great cabin away from everything!

Beautiful spot with nice little creek! House needs some cleaning and updating, but the owner was willing to take our last minute booking so cleaning could be related to our scheduling. The yard is a little on the wild side, but can be overlooked as cabin charm!

This is type of guest who wants to change dates, ask for discounts, special accommodations, brings unregistered guests, brings dog and books at last minute. Despite me bending over backwards I realize some reservations I should just pass on and this was one. Guest said she wished there was terraced gardens in the backyard instead of the natural plants on the walk path down to creek. Kind of ridiculous, welcome to NC and the national forest. Comment on cleaning... I contacted guest to understand statement and was told guest had a daughter who was not on reservation but had commented that she wanted to rewash the sheet on her bed because she was a germ freak. The house was cleaned by two maids and all sheets were freshly changed before arrival. This same guest said it was amazing and are now ruined from staying anywhere else then they offered to buy the house.

A creek in your backyard

Relaxing and refreshing

We had a wonderful stay! This home is as represented in description and photos. We relaxed just staying in home, sitting on the deck and fishing in the creek that runs around the rental. Family Thanksgiving 2022

Very nice house , very clean and had everything we needed. The owner Scott was very nice and accommodating also. The heat was on when we arrived which made the house very nice and warm. My grandsons loved the creek and having a campfire at night while roasting marshmallows. Lots of family memories made. Will definitely be back.

Perfect spot to recharge your families batteries

We had a great experience! The house was just as described and had everything we needed. The location and creek were amazing! The kids fished and tubed down town the creek and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Highly recommend white water rafting at the Natahala Outdoor Center on the chattooga river (about 40 minutes away) and the gold city gem mine (about 30 minutes). Scott was great and answered any questions we had promptly. Overall highly recommend!

A great family vacation!

The property was great and the host, Scott, could not have been more attentive and helpful. The stream out back was great for our 16-year-old to fish in. The house is an easy drive from several fun activities. We enjoyed Waterfall viewing, Dry Falls was incredible, as well as Zip Lining at Highlands Aeriel Park. We rafted the Nantahala River and took the train ride into the Nantahala gorge, which was stunning (get the cars with the AC if in the summer). All in all it was a wonderful vacation, and the greater Highlands area is just beautiful.

very welcoming home

We enjoyed both the home and the yard. The kids enjoyed the creek and the rock they name "Pride Rock". It was too cold to get in the water but they still enjoyed the water. The house was very comfortable and the owner had provided lots of little extras to make us feel welcome and to enjoy during our stay.

Exactly what we were looking for!!!

Wanted a nice, private house in the Mountains with stream. We got everything we wanted and more!!! Owner was super helpful and friendly. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was a great place to unwind with the family and enjoy nature. The kids had a blast kayaking and hunting for gems in the stream. It was great to feel secluded, yet less than 15 minutes away from stores and shopping. Can’t wait to book again sometime!

Hope you can enjoy this house. It is just too nice to keep for just us. I am a software exec and go between Florida and North Carolina. This cabin has been exclusively for private use for our family for 25 years and only recently made available for guests so please come and enjoy this paradise.

This is what everybody wants. Relax on the deck, enjoy the view of he creek and take a walk in the creek. You can take a plunge in the creek but it is shallow with area about 5' in small portion but most of it is shallow and kids love it. Relax in the creek and try catching some trout. A large deck overlooks a spectacular 1000' of creekfront. This is a clean family friendly home/ cabin with the comforts that you need to have a nice time. It is not a multi million dollar fancy place but instead a comfy family cabin/ house in the right spot convenient to everything. It has the best creek front situation you will find on VRBO for this area. I try my best to provide a 5 star experience according to my guests and I communicate with you during the visit to make sure everything is fine. If something goes wrong I will try my very best to fix it. I work remote and internet works fine for me using programs like gsuite, salesforce.com and zoom (using profile pic) but you are not in big city with fiber optic so if you need that go to next property.. We are close to Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. Fishing behind the house and kids can play in the creek all day long. Shallow part of creek up to ankels and shins. We have pulled various gemstones out of the creek at the bend. This is a private and tranquil setting that you will not want to leave. Beautiful wood floors throughout and all the comforts of home. The trout are known to bite on meal worms, right behind the house if you are lucky. Many kids have caught their first fish here while on vacation. Also plenty of trout farms nearby if you want a sure thing/ catch.

Large deck overlooking private creek where kids will spend their entire day. This is what everyone hopes to have when they visit NC. Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA is nearby about 10-15 minutes to both. Plenty to do around with kayaking, gem mining, waterfall hiking, great restaurants, and all the conveniences but very very private.
