Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom Devon abode is situated in beautiful, rural surroundings, 2.5 miles from Bideford and 2 miles from the spectacular beach at Westward Ho!, and is ideal for a group booking.
Step inside via the front door to leave your outerwear in the hall and wander into the bright, welcoming accommodation. Head into the airy kitchen/diner to open the glass doors that frame the picturesque views and step out into the garden. Unpack the fresh provisions you have bought on your excursion and make a cup of tea to enjoy with a slice of Devon apple cake. Prepare hearty feasts in here for your party too and dine together at the farmhouse-style table. The generous lounge is also a superb social space. Stoke up the wood burner in here during the autumn and winter months, spread out on the soft sofas and play games together or watch the Smart TV. A useful utility room and a family shower room can also be found downstairs. When eyelids begin to droop, make your way up to the first floor. Here, you will find two king-size bedrooms, a double and a twin. A second family shower room and a family bathroom are also at this level. Head out to the wooden deck and follow the steps down to the lovely lawned garden. Fire up the hot tub or simply relax over a glass of wine as you take in the verdant views.
Head to Westward Ho! to go swimming or surfing or to picnic on the sand. Picture-postcard Clovelly, 10 miles away, where donkeys pull loads up and down the cobbled streets, is also well worth visiting.
