Spent almost 2 weeks here. Very clean and functional. No dryer in the property FYI. Has most of the equipment you might need in the kitchen, but don't expect any storage space for groceries. Internet is not the best and phone data was faster when working.

Super apartment! Quiet, extremely clean and well-stocked with utensils, washing machine etc. that you might need. Excellent access to both ends of town (approx. 10-15mins walk dep. upon pace), including the County cricket ground.Good choice of nearby coffee shops, and Lidlls and Tesco barely 5 mins walk away. Ample car parking spaces too. Host helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

The lift to the apartment got stuck and we were unable to get a reply from the lift service team. Fire brigade had to release us

That must have been extremely unsettling, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and concern caused. We are taking this matter very seriously. The incident has been reported to the lift management company as a priority, including the lack of response from their service team, and we are following up to ensure appropriate checks and procedures are in place to prevent anything like this from happening again. A good apartment for a short stay. First appearances were very favourable. It was a good base for the area and especially for the cricket ground. Parking was very easy. Using the postcode, the sat nav took us to the Tesco car park. The route from there to the Waterside building was like going three sides of a square. It is a 90 second walk between the two locations but a much longer drive!The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. There is a lovely view of two tulip trees from the feature window in the bedroom.The kitchen equipment is minimal, never enough to fill the dishwasher before running out of basics. It lacked a vegetable peeler and a pair of scissors, both bare minimums for self-catering.Disappointingly, the oven and the grill pan were dirty. The communal bin stores for recycling and refuse were both in a poor state due to residents not using them properly. This appears to be an ongoing issue. We brought our considerable recycling home.
