This was the absolute worst experience I've had staying in a vacation rental property and I would not stay at any property managed by Albany Properties or George Gray. I booked the listing in November 2024 for a stay in August 2025. Up until the day I checked in the house the listing stated the property had 4.5 bathrooms. When I arrived at the house I saw it in fact had only 3.5 bathrooms. At the time I booked the property I had a number of other options in the same area and specifically booked this property because of the stated number of bathrooms. When I realized a bathroom was missing I immediately told the host. He confirmed that there were only 3.5 bathrooms and that he wasn't aware of the error in the listing because no other guests complained. I told him it is not the responsibility of the guests to ensure the accuracy of a listing and that he had nine months to correct and inform me of the error in the listing. He said he couldn't manufacture another bathroom and since he had allowed me to check in early (30 minutes) there was nothing more that he could do. Note that George was not aware of the error in the listing when he offered an early check in. George was unwilling to offer any compensation and after the first day stopped replying to my messages. I had to contact VRBO to intervene at which point he responded to a concern I had about the back door not locking. I had also complained that the living room rug was visibly dirty.
